Poinsettia Spritz Punch.
Welcome to Christmas Drink Saturday…number THREE!
Can’t believe we are already three drinks in. That means only three to go…craziness! Like the last two cocktails (hello Pomegranate Ginger Paloma and The North Pole), today’s drink is another major favorite. This Poinsettia Spritz Punch is totally different from the last two, and well, it involves champagne…yes, yes, YES. It’s called the poinsettia due to its red hue, but it’s really just a fizzy cranberry cocktail with a hit of St. Germain, which is my new obsession, 1) because it feels so fancy and two 2) it’s adds the lightest flora touch that pairs perfectly with the tart cranberries and sweet champagne.
Here’s how this one works. It’s SIMPLE, add everything but the champagne to a pitcher and chill. Then when it’s serving time, just add the champagne and a few fresh cranberries for a festive touch and DONE. Simple as can be and totally delicious. I have a feeling I will be making a lot of these over Christmas. My family loves the pitcher style drinks because the pours just keep coming…YIKES.
Happy first Saturday of December guys! Hope it’s filled with Christmassy things (or whatever holiday you’re celebrating this December), maybe some snow and most definitely some baking. My suggestions would be in the form of this Gingerbread Cake or these 3-Ingredient Nutella Pop Tarts. Then top your day of baking off with some Poinsettia Spritz Punch!!
December weekend perfection!

Thanks so much, Rachel!! Have never thought about doing a styling post…not sure I am good enough for that!! Maybe in the new year though, sounds like a fun post. Thanks again. Hope all is good! 🙂

Its just about that time!! Hope you enjoy!! (: Thanks!
Hey Tieghan! Just saw your post and was trying to figure out a specialty cocktail to serve at The Mohicans (www.themohicans.net) staff party tonight. This cocktail looks perfect! It’s very Christmasy and will match the red at The Little Red Tree house. Love your holiday ideas and we can’t wait for you to come and do a “tiny “house” cooking session at one of the tree houses!
Wait, Mrs. Mooney is making a recipe from me?! Normally it’s the other way around! haha! Hope this was well loved by everyone! 🙂
And yes, my mom told me about that, cannot wait!! Just let me know!
So festive! This is what I want under the tree Christmas morning!
YES yes! Exactly what i was thinking!!

Yay! Hope its a hit (:
Oh my gosh! Love how festive this is! Especially loaded with all that cranberry!
Thanks Andrea! Its been a hit around here (: They didn’t last long!
Looks great and very christmasy…but can you eat fresh cranberries?
Hey Steoh! Yes, you can eat fresh cranberries, but they are very tart, which is why you need to pair them with something sweet. The cranberries are more of a garnish, eating them is totally optional. Let me know if you have questions. Thank you!
Love your beautiful coupe glasses! Can you share where you found them?
Thanks Robyn! They are from Anthropologie!
How festive, and I love your glasses! I’m constantly IN-LOVE with your photography! If only you could be my teacher haha!
Thank you soo soo much!! Maybe some day i’ll do a workshop! (:
A workshop sounds amazing!! I’m in! 🙂
Oh I love anything cranberry during the festive season! This sounds and looks delicious, can’t wait to get tipsy. 😉

Thanks girl!!
Ugh, Tieghan, these photos…. talk about Christmas #goals. So stunning!!
(: Thanks Sarah!!
Oh my this drink is so festive! Perfect for the holidays that’s for sure. I’d like this so much for the holidays! Now I just need to get St. Germain and champagne. Yes, that would really make a great drink to just mix most of the ingredients ahead of time and just add the bubbly champagne when serving! Love love love all the latest pictures, T! It’s all so festive and Christmassy…Btw, what is that string of light you’re using? Is it electric?
Hey Sheila! Yes, the lights are electric! You can find them in Crate and Barrel. Let me know if you have questions. Thank you! 🙂
Such a gorgeous drink!!
Thank you!!
This is so gorgeous and sounds delicious! I’m totally serving this at my holiday cockail party this weekend. Thanks for the recipe! 🙂
Thanks Julie!! Hope everyone loves them!!
Wow, this is definitely on my list to try to make this holiday season! My husband and I would definitely enjoy this cocktail drink! Looks yumm!
Yay, I hope you guys love it!!
Hi! I’ve gathered all the ingredients for this drink except the St. Germain – I saw the price of it at the grocery store and just couldn’t get myself to spend that much. . .what do you think if I made this without the St. Germain? Is there anything, less expense, that I could substitute? Would love your thoughts on how I should proceed 🙂
Hi! Yes, please make it minus the St. Germain, no big deal. This will be great without it! Hope you love this and Merry Christmas! 🙂
Ok, thanks – will do, having a group of girls over on Monday night, I’m sure it will be a hit! Merry Christmas to you, too!
Sounds so fun!! Hope you guys love it!! Thanks!!
I just have to write back and say that the drink was a huge hit – helped keep us warm on a cold evening. . .I recommend everyone make it, it’s still really good without the St. Germain. Cheers!
Im so happy you liked these Arijaan! Thank you so much!
Is this made with plain cranberry juice from a bottle or is t cranberry cocktail. Looking to make this for Christmas girls night in. Looks fabulous!
Hey Rudi! Use Cranberry juice, not cranberry cocktail. Let me know if you have other questions. Hope you love these and Merry Christmas! ?
I made these for Christmas at my mom’s house, and they were outstanding! Between the four of us and the three neighbors who came over, we went through SIX batches. I swapped in prosecco for the champagne and it was excellent. The only other change I would make in the future is skipping the cranberries in the pitcher and simply tossing frozen cranberries in the glasses…it just ended up being too many cranberries, which are difficult to navigate when you’ve had a few of these 🙂 As a side note, we ran out of cranberry juice on the last batch, so I just used pomegranate juice as recommended, and they were still fabulous.
Wow!! I am so happy you loved this! Thank you so much Robbin, and Happy New Year!
Happy new year to you, Tieghan!
You too! Thanks Robin!
Howdy I am so delighted I found your site, I really found you by mistake, while I was looking on Google for something else,
Nonetheless I am here now and would just like to say thanks
for a tremendous post and a all round interesting blog (I also love
the theme/design), I don’t have time to read through
it all at the minute but I have bookmarked it and also included your RSS feeds,
so when I have time I will be back to read a
great deal more, Please do keep up the fantastic b.
Thanks!
I was just looking at all of your cocktails and thought I’d give this a try. Maybe make a double batch and serve in a cute beverage dispenser? Or would that not work because of the bubbly? Also, can the ingredients be doubled as they are? This looks easy, delicious, and so pretty. Thanks! 🙂
HI! You can double this no problem. Just add the chilled bubbly an hour or so before serving! Please let me know if you have any other questions. I hope you love this recipe. Thanks so much!! xTieghan ?
Hi! This drink looks amazing! When you make it with 100% cranberry juice, is it unsweetened?
Hi! Yes, it is unsweetened! I hope you love this Kathleen! xTieghan

Is there another fruit juice that may work well to make this a spring time punch? I made this for Christmas and everyone loved it.
Hey Leslie,
Sure, really any juice you like will work here! I hope you love the recipe. Cheers! xTieghan
