Salted Pretzel Magic Bars.
The easiest 8 ingredients Salted Pretzel Magic Bars. These are some of the best cookie bars…rich and decadent, heavy on the chocolate, and oh so gooey! Made with pretzels, vanilla, sweet, sweetened condensed milk, coconut, chocolate chips, and peanuts for a cookie bar that’s addictingly delicious. Every bite is slightly crisp on top but soft and gooey in the center with just a bite of pretzel crunch. So DELICIOUS. Absolutely nothing not to love about these salty, sweet Magic Bars. Bonus? These bars are easy to make, use simple ingredients, and take only minutes to prep. They’re deliciously easy, they’re magical!
Happy Friday! Happy Snow Day! It’s been snowing hardcore here since Wednesday, so happy snow week/weekend for us. Perfect baking weather.
Right off the bat, I’m just going to say, these bars are really, really, hard not to love.
So let’s just jump right into them.
As I said above, they have that salty-sweet combination that truly keeps everyone coming back for seconds…and thirds. And on top of their deliciousness, they couldn’t be easier to make.
Soo, you see? They’re magic! In all seriousness though, they really are pretty amazing. Do you remember the Magic Bars your mom or grandma used to make? Well, these are those bars, only better.
Here’s the quick story
I’ve been wanting to share my mom’s Magic Bar recipe for the longest time, but just never found the perfect time. When we had a giant snow day this past week, the only thing I felt like doing was baking. I remembered back to these bars, and just like that, I found the perfect time to bake up mom’s Magic Bars.
Except, when I looked back at her recipe, I realized that the bars she makes are made with graham crackers. Don’t get me wrong, I love graham crackers, but I love them in a S’more, or maybe dipped in cold milk (does anyone else do this?). Not in my chocolate bars. And that’s when I had the idea for pretzels. It’s not rocket science or genius by any means, but it sure made these Magic Bars just a touch more delicious than all the rest out there.
Bold statement, but in my eyes, it’s true.
Here are the details.
The things about magic bars? They’re EASY. Which is one part of the “magic”.
Just mix a bunch of pretzel crumbs with melted butter, then press that mix into a baking dish. Now layer on the sweetened condensed milk (this is the key ingredient that really holds everything together). Then add the coconut, so many chocolate chips, and salty peanuts…and bake.
Twenty minutes later you’ll have the sweetest, prettiest Salted Pretzel Magic Bars. Simple as that.
Since these bars are very, very gooey when they come out of the oven, it’s best to really let them cool before cutting them. Usually, I’m all about cutting into bars warms, but with these, you’ve got to let them set up before you cut…unless you want to eat your bars with a fork. In which case, by all means, enjoy these warm out of the oven.
Yummmm.
Otherwise, let them cool. If you want to add a little extra touch, you can drizzle the top of the bars with melted chocolate. It’s not needed, but I love the look of the chocolate drizzle and we all know you can never have too much chocolate.
And if you’re into it, a little sprinkle of sea salt on top really seals the deal!
And that’s it. Do you see?
So simple, they’re magic. But what else makes them magic…they’re chocolatey, salty, sweet, gooey, and have just the tiniest bit of CRUNCH. Basically, they’re everything you could want out of a dessert bar.
I love to double the recipe, then cut up the second batch and send them off with my brothers to gift to everyone they snowboard with. Red especially loves bringing his friends HBH treats and these are always the biggest hit.
As I said, they’re pretty hard not to love.
Soo with that, how about some Friday night baking? These are easy enough to have mixed up and baked in less than an hour. And my guess is that you already have all the ingredients on hand. Bake that double batch and save the second batch for Sunday’s game. They’ll make the perfect Super Bowl dessert!

The pretzel sticks on top take this to the next level visually. How and when do you garnish with the pretzels? Thanks.
Hey Emie,
The pretzels are added at the end of step 2. I hope you love these bars, please let me know if you have any other questions! xTieghan
I’ve never heard of pretzel crumbs…so I’m just going to do that on the fly…but when do you add the pretzels on the top? This is going on my super bowl menu thanks T your recipes are always visual beautiful in addition to delicious
Hey there,
You are going to add the pretzels on top at the end of step 2. I hope you love the recipe, please let me know if you have any other questions! xTieghan
HI – any substitute suggestions for peanuts? Allergies in the house…
Hey Diane,
You could use cashews in place of peanuts. I hope you love the recipe, please let me know if you have any other questions! xTieghan
Where are the pretzel sticks in the recipe? Thx
Hey Diane,
The pretzel sticks are added at the end of step 2. Let me know how they turn out! xTieghan
It looks like yours have pretzels on top but the recipe doesn’t indicate that?
Hey Holly,
The pretzel sticks are added at the end of step 2. I hope you love them! xTieghan
Graham crackers dipped in milk are a must. Or, spread some butter on the graham cracker and wash it down with some cold milk a la my childhood. This recipe looks awesome – can’t wait to try it!
Thanks Kelli! I hope you love the recipe:) xTieghan
I wanted to know about the pretzel sticks too!! Definitely making these for the weekend!
Hey Patrish,
The pretzel sticks are added at the end of step 2. I hope you love the recipe! xTieghan
These look INCREDIBLE!! And such perfect photography from you, as always. I cannot wait to make these ASAP. Thanks for another go-to yummy recipe. Friyay night, snowy baking here I come. 🙂
Thanks so much Nicole! I hope you love the recipe:) xTieghan
Everyone asking about the pretzel bits on top – I think this is when you’re supposed to put them on: “Sprinkle over the remaining 1/2 cup chocolate chips. Add a handful of pretzels, if desired. Press down with a fork to help submerge everything” So once you’ve put on the chocolate chips, then put the pretzels on top and then bake. At least that’s how I interpreted it.
And for pretzel crumbs I think you just blitz pretzels in the food processor, like in one of the first pics.
This looks delicious! Excited to try it out.
Thanks Heather! I hope you love the recipe! xTieghan
I love this idea – I am not a fan of graham crackers and pretzel crumbs make so much sense (plus add a nice salty bite)!! will try this weekend 🙂
Thanks so much Laurie! I hope you love the recipe:) xTieghan
These look fantastic. How long will they last before pretzels get stale? Thanks!
Hey Natalie,
They should be totally fine as long as your store in an airtight container. I hope you love the recipe, please let me know if you have any other questions! xTieghan
I actually made these. 😉
They’re really tasty, not too sweet IMO.
The pretzel’s saltyness offset the sweet, so I recommend. I used Cashews and Walnuts.
Good recipe.
Hey Sydney,
Thanks so much for trying the recipe, I am so glad it was enjoyed! Have a great weekend:) xTieghan
I’ve been following you for awhile now and I just wanted to say how visually stunning your photographs are. I cannot wait to try all of your recipes!
Thank you so very much Renee:) xTieghan
What’s a good swap for the coconut flakes? I can’t stand them…
Hey Melissa,
I would use an equal amount of oats in place of the coconut. I hope you love the recipe, please let me know if you have any other questions! xTieghan
Would love to make but need to sub out coconut. What’s your best recommendation? Thanks!
Hey Lisa,
I would use an equal amount of oats in place of the coconut. I hope you enjoy the recipe. Let me know how they turn out! xTieghan
Do you prefer salted pretzel sticks over unsalted? Do you think toasted almonds on top would taste okay?
Hey Jenny,
I prefer salted pretzels and yes almonds would be good. I hope you love the recipe, please let me know if you have any other questions! xTieghan
Hi! This looks delicious, any substitute recommendations to make it vegan ?
Hey Emanuelle,
You could try using ghee and sweetened condensed coconut milk. I have not tried these substitutes, let me know how it turns out! xTieghan
Do you have any suggestion for a coconut and (totally) nut free version? Not sure what I should sub in for those – or if it’s even possible without the two.
Hey Shari,
I haven’t tested this, but I would try oats for the coconut and extra chocolate chips, M&M’s, or white chocolate chips for the nuts. I hope you love the recipe, please let me know how they turn out. xTieghan
Can you leave out the coconut?
Hey Crystal,
You will want to use something in place of the coconut, I would recommend oats. I hope you love the recipe, please let me know if you have any other questions! xTieghan
These looked amazing, but were just ok for me. I just noticed that the recipe calls for the coconut to go directly after the condensed milk and THEN the chocolate, but your Instagram shows the chocolate first and then the coconut. That may have made them hold together more. These took multiple hours to cool down for me and for the chocolate to solidify again. It would be good to note that they need to sit and cool for quite a while or to put them in the fridge. Also would be good to add a note for when to add the flaky salt as well since it’s not in the recipe. Anyways, big fan of yours and love most of your recipes I’ve tried! Just wanted to share my experience with this one. 🙂
Thanks for trying the recipe Victoria! xTieghan
Any replacement for the coconut flakes? Or just omit?
Hey Christina,
You want to replace the coconut with something like oats. I hope you love the recipe, please let me know if you have any other questions! xTieghan
When do you use the sea salt?
Hey Jill,
You can sprinkle with flaky sea salt at the end of the recipe. I hope you love them! xTieghan
Do you bake the pretzel layer before your put everything else on? I thought in your video this morning that’s what you did.
Hey Kate,
Nope, you don’t bake until the bars are assembled:) I hope you love the recipe! xTiegha
These look delicious! Would leaving out the coconut flakes ruin the ratios? Or do you have any suggestions for substitutions?
Hey Audrey,
I would use something like oats to replace the oats:) I hope you love the recipe. Please let me know if you have any other questions! xTieghan
The ingredients say Flaky Sea salt…but it’s not mentioned in the actual recipe steps. Do finish it with the flakes?
Hey Amy,
Yes, you will want to finish with flaky sea salt. I hope you love the recipe, please let me know if you have any other questions! xTieghan
Should I adjust temps/times if I use a glass 9×13?
Hey Danica,
You should be fine following the recipe as is:) I hope you love them! xTieghan
Maybe you can help I made these this morning per the recipe. I used my food processor to crumb the pretzels, what should the consistency be? They took a bit longer to brown around the edge and I have cooled them. The chocolate hasn’t set up and it doesn’t resemble a bar they are quite soft but tasty. Thought putting them in the fridge overnight……
Hey Annie,
Sorry you are having issues…I guess I am having a hard time understanding what you are having trouble with? These should not be a super hard bar, they are gooey and soft. Let me know how I can help! xTieghan
I just made these and they are amazing!! I’ll be keeping sweetened condensed milk stocked at my house because it’s the perfect snack for a crowd or just to munch on all day 😜
Hey Lynn,
I am thrilled you enjoyed this recipe, thanks so much for making it! Happy Sunday! xTieghan
I just ran out of parchment paper 🙁 can I just coat it with olive oil spray or butter? I’m so excited to try this!
Hey Alex,
Yes, either of those will be fine to use. I hope you love the recipe, please let me know if you have any other questions! xTieghan
Baking as I write. I’m thinking of drizzling with caramel??
Hey Lisa,
I’m sure that would work well! I hope you love the recipe! xTieghan
Definitely making these. Any ideas to replace the coconut. I’d like to make a second batch for a friend with coconut allergy.
Hey Jeri,
I would use oats in place of the coconut. I hope you love the recipe, please let me know if you have any other questions! xTieghan
These were divine! I popped them in the freezer after they had cooled off a bit so they could harden up a bit. So easy to make too! Thank you, Tieghan!
Hey Kim,
I am thrilled you enjoyed this recipe, thanks so much for making it! Happy Sunday! xTieghan
Can I use the traditional graham crackers instead of pretzels for the bottom crust?
Hey Stefanie,
Sure, that would work well! I hope you love the recipe, please let me know if you have any other questions! xTieghan
These are delicious! We have some who don’t like coconut so I just did half oatmeal on one side and half coconut on the other. Both were yummy! I’m not a talented baker but this was so easy and foolproof to make. Thanks for another great recipe.
Hey Amber,
I am thrilled you enjoyed this recipe, thanks so much for making it! Happy Sunday! xTieghan
Amazing recipe!! I made a few subs with what I had on hand… I did half chocolate chips and half butterscotch chips and honey roasted peanuts. So delicious!!!
Hey Alicia,
I am thrilled you enjoyed this recipe, thanks so much for making it! Happy Sunday! xTieghan
Concept is great, I love chocolate covered pretzels but these are a bit dry. Crust is super crumbly – maybe not enough butter so they dont hold together well. I may put some ganache on top to moisten them. Tastes kind of like a candy bar. Won’t make again.
Hey Charlotte,
Sorry you didn’t enjoy the recipe, let me know if I can help in anyway! xTieghan
Easiest trick to melt the chocolate to drizzle??
Hey Julie,
I just melt in the microwave:) I hope you love the recipe! xTieghan
Updating my comment They need some time to firm up these are amazing Just need to be patient another keeper from you!
Hey Annie,
I am so glad this recipe was enjoyed, thanks for making it! Have a great week! xTieghan
For me, the 1 1/2 cups pretzel crumb mixture did not fill the bottom of a 9×13 dish, even when spread thin. Seemed like more pretzels were needed.
Hey Michelle,
So sorry about this! Next time try adding more pretzels:) xTieghan
Can you use evaporates instead of condensed milk?
Hey Rachel,
Sorry evaporated milk won’t work quite the same way as sweetened condensed milk. I hope you love the recipe, please let me know if you have any other questions! xTieghan
Hi Tieghan – how do I get the middle to set up? I had to use 1 1/2 cans of condensed milk since my first can was “not runny” enough to cover the pretzels. I baked for 28 minutes and it still look loose in the middle…will it harden as it cools – or should I cook it more? It looks and smells wonderfulll
Hey Kris,
I am so glad this recipe was enjoyed, thanks for making it! I would allow it to cool. Have a great week! xTieghan
Hello!! If you double the recipe, do you recommend cooking for any longer? And how long would you recommend to dry? I took mine out of the oven and the sweetened condensed milk seems a bit runny still and they have not formed a bar like consistency. Thank you!! 🙂
Hey Jordan,
I have not tried doubling this recipe, but if you was a 9×13 pan, then yes you will want to double the baking time as well. Let me know how they turn out! xTieghan
I made these today, and they did NOT disappoint. They are gooey, chocolatey, salty and delicious. They are the perfect balance. My boyfriend went back for thirds. These are a tasty tasty treat.
Hey Shannon,
Thanks so much for making the recipe, I am so glad it was enjoyed! Have a great week! xTieghan
How much sea salt? Assuming after baking..do you wait until it cools? Thanks
Hey Jen,
You an sprinkle while they are still warm, as much sea salt to your liking. I hope you love the recipe! xTieghan
Made these today and were delicious and perfect!! Two tips that helped me get nice firm bars for cutting: Use an additional 1/2 cup of pretzels finely ground to fill any open spaces between pretzel crumbs on the bottom so the pan doesn’t show through. Once all of the layers of ingredients are in the pan, place a sheet of aluminum foil the size of the pan over the ingredients and press firmly on the foil to push the layers together in a quick and uniform manner. You dont need to oil it. Once the pretzel bars are cooled, they cut beautifully and don’t fall apart. Great recipe! Thank you for sharing!!
Hey there,
Thanks so much for making the recipe, I am so glad it was enjoyed! Have a great week! xTieghan
These need to be placed in the fridge in order to set up and be a bar, and not a soggy mess. They were ok. If I make them again, I will make a few changes. Good starter recipe
Hey Kerri,
Sorry these didn’t turn out the way you would have liked. Let me know if I can help in anyway! xTieghan
We replaced peanuts with walnuts and it is SO good!!
Hey Sierra,
Thanks so much for making the recipe, I am so glad it was enjoyed! Have a great week! xTieghan
These were delicious!!! They will absolutely be a staple dessert in my house from now on
Hey Kim,
Thanks so much for making the recipe, I am so glad it was enjoyed! Have a great week! xTieghan
I made these tonight but subbed oatmeal for the coconut because my grocery order didn’t have my coconut. So sad! They were easy to make and look so pretty. They did turn out pretty dry and we couldn’t taste much of the sweetened condensed milk goodness so I am wondering if the oatmeal really soaked that up. I am planning to make them again with the coconut like the recipe calls for but wouldn’t make them again with the oatmeal sub.
Hey Kate,
So sorry about this, I haven’t tested these with oats so I am unsure of what the results would be. I would try with coconut next time:) xTieghan
These are my favorite version of magic bars yet! Love the salty crunch of the pretzels! I used crushed praline pecans as my nuts on top. Hubs and I both ate in love with these and will definitely be making them over and over!
Hey Rebekah,
I am so glad the recipe was enjoyed, thanks so much for giving it a try! Have a great week! xTieghan
Loved these but there are some serious typos with the recipe. Namely the amount of pretzels for the crust and condensed milk. Something has got to give either double the amount for both or reduce the pan size to an 8×8 or 9×9. Otherwise a great take on hello dollies.
Hey there,
So sorry you had issues with the recipe, there are no typos, let me know how I can help! xTieghan
Made these and shared with a few friends. Everyone looooved them. Couldn’t stop raving about how delicious they were. I’ll definitely be making them again.
Hey Meg,
I am so glad the recipe was enjoyed, thanks so much for giving it a try! Have a great week! xTieghan
These bars where absolutely delicious! They where a hit! Highly recommend and easy to make !
Hey Kelly,
I am so glad the recipe was enjoyed, thanks so much for giving it a try! Have a great week! xTieghan
So so so easy to make! and so delicious!
Just curious if you know if these freeze ok?! It’s a lot for one person 🙊
Thanks!!
Hey Manda,
I am so glad the recipe was enjoyed, thanks so much for giving it a try! Have a great week! xTieghan
So I made these bars yesterday as part of our Super Bowl spread, and the flavors were absolutely delicious but they were a crumbly mess! Did I do something wrong? I did give them an opportunity to cool completely, but the pretzel/buttery crust seemed to all fall apart. I tucked them in the freezer for now and plan to enjoy them again a little later!
Hey Margaret,
Thanks for giving the recipe a try, so sorry these were crumbly for you. Was there anything you may have adjusted? This would help me to better answer your question! xTieghan
These bars were DELICIOUS!! Easy to make and such a fantastic taste! Had a bite when they cam out of the oven, but they are actually even better when they cool off!
Hey Marybeth,
I am delighted you enjoyed the recipe, thanks so much for giving it a try! xTieghan
So good! Made these for my roommates for the Super Bowl and the pan was gone before the end of the game!
Hey Ellissa,
I am delighted you enjoyed the recipe, thanks so much for giving it a try! xTieghan
These are everything! Sweet, salty and perfect. They were a big hit and made for a nice ‘breakfast snack’ the next day. Coconut is healthy right? 😳 Thanks for the great recipe.
Hey Ashlee,
I am delighted you enjoyed the recipe, thanks so much for giving it a try! xTieghan
These are fabulous! So quick and easy to make, and were a big hit at the super bowl party we attended!
Hey Jane,
I am delighted you enjoyed the recipe, thanks so much for giving it a try! xTieghan
Made these twice in two days, they are that good. And I used cashews for peanuts both times, BUT the real trick is adding marshmallows on top of it all. I didn’t think they could get better, but something about the marshmallows and the coconut just works for me. Had to share!!!!
Hey Joely,
I am delighted you enjoyed the recipe, thanks so much for giving it a try! xTieghan
I made these as a superbowl treat and they were great! If I made them again I think I would use a smaller dish to have a thicker base, and would use a bit less chocolate and a few more nuts. I also decided to store my extras in the fridge and I think they’re really good cold, does change the texture a bit but it’s great. Thanks for the recipe!
Hey Sarah,
I am delighted you enjoyed the recipe, thanks so much for giving it a try! xTieghan
The salted pretzel bars were delicious. I wouldn’t change a thing. I will put more pretzels on top, love the added crunch. Three of us finished half of the container when they cooled down.
Hey June,
I am delighted you enjoyed the recipe, thanks so much for giving it a try! xTieghan
These were delicious! Liked by everyone who tried them. Adding the condensed milk was a bit tricky, as it was so dense and the pretzel crust was so light and fluffy. I basically ended up using a spatula to disperse and it worked out just fine. Overall, super easy, quick recipe that was a crowd favorite! 🙂
Hey Kathleen,
I am delighted you enjoyed the recipe, thanks so much for giving it a try! xTieghan
Very easy to make but not in love. Definitely has a good taste and a MUST is letting them fully cool which is hard cause takes awhile and you’ll want to devour on site. Mine tasted much better on day 2 and I even took to sticking them in the freezer after they cooled some, for about 30 minutes to retain shape and make them easier to cut. Parchment makes for easier clean up. I’d make again but not blown away. Oh and IDK if the pretzels or the peanuts but definitely didn’t need to sprinkle any additional salt at all upon taking them out of the oven, glad I tasted first before adding.
Hey Erin,
Sorry you did not enjoy the recipe, let me know if I can help in anyway! xTieghan
These are so decadent, rich, and satisfying. I didn’t have the full amount of each ingredient so I cut the recipe in half and baked in a 6-cup muffin tin. Perfectly portioned and really cute as well!
Hey Allison,
I am thrilled you enjoyed the recipe. Thanks for giving it a try! xTieghan
Omg these are fantastic and so easy to make gluten free!
Hey Loren,
I am thrilled you enjoyed the recipe. Thanks for giving it a try! xTieghan
These bars are pure magic! Thanks to her recipes I put pretzels in pretty much all my sweet baked goods now! The salty crunch they provide is unreal.
Hey Katie,
I am so glad that you enjoyed the recipe, thanks so much for making it! Have a great weekend:) xTieghan
Hello! Do you use convect bake or just regular bake? I never know what to do for which recipes!
Hey Julia,
I use regular bake. I hope you love the recipe, please let me know if you have any other questions! xTieghan
I made this recipe last night and wow! Super easy and no mess. It would definitely be a great option when you need a batch of something to bring somewhere. I actually swapped the coconut flakes with oats per your suggestion and it worked perfectly. I agree with the other comments, it isn’t super sweet, which I loved.
DEFINITELY put in the refrigerator and cool overnight. I ate a bite last night and it wasn’t fully cooled and it was fine but this morning they were much better and fully formed into a bar. Your recipes are the best!
Hey Eileen,
I am so glad that you enjoyed the recipe, thanks so much for making it! Have a great weekend:) xTieghan
These are delicious!! Do you think these will stay fresh for a week? Or do you recommend freezing them to keep them fresh longer? Thanks!
Hey Lauren,
They will be good for a week in an airtight container:) I hope you love the recipe, please let me know if you have any other questions! xTieghan
Used pecans instead of peanuts otherwise kept everything the same- these were delicious and are now a new favorite recipe! Thank you!
Hey Ashley,
Thanks so much for giving the recipe a try, I am so glad it was enjoyed! Have a great week:) xTieghan
These were easy to make and delicious! I replaced some of the chocolate chips with V-day colored MnMs and they came out great!
Hey Emma,
Thanks so much for making the recipe, I am delighted it was enjoyed! xTieghan
Hello!! 🙂
Thank you for this sweet&salty delicious recipe!!
i made them today 🙂
it is very tasty , not heavy (i was expecting it to be heavy due to ingredients) and a bit sticky due to condensed milk but overall i liked them. 🙂
My question is that , should i keep them at room temprature or in the fridge? in both cases, in how many days they should be consumed?
Thank you so much 🙂
Hey there,
Thanks so much for making the recipe, I am so glad it was enjoyed! I keep mine at room temp in an airtight container for up to 1 week. Thanks! xTieghan
These are delicious. Will definitely make again and next time I’ll double the pretzel crust and coconut. These bars took several hours to set. I wasn’t patient and cut them too early!!!
Hey Nicole,
Thanks so much for making the recipe, I am delighted it was enjoyed! Happy Friday:) xTieghan
These were so yummy and so so easy! Plus they held up well for a few days.
Hey Emily,
Thank you so much for giving the recipe a go! I am thrilled it was enjoyed. xTieghan
The flavor of these are good, but there seemed to be some major issues with the recipe for me. Made these over the weekend, and would highly recommend either making them in a pan smaller than 9×13, or adding at least another 1/2-1 cup of pretzels to the bottom. It was not enough to completely cover the bottom of the pan. Additionally, I would recommend baking off just the pretzel and butter bottom first so that it holds together and provides a more sturdy base not only for eating, but for spreading the sweetened condensed milk on top of. It was impossible to spread that across the loose pretzels and they all sort of blended together. The flavors were a great mix of sweet and salty and with some tweaks this could be really good. I added a handful of butterscotch chips on top as well and that was a tasty addition.
Hey Emily,
So sorry you did not enjoy the recipe, let me know if I can help in anyway! xTieghan
Mine turned out dry and much of the toppings fell off. I did press down the toppings. Love the taste of the pretzel crust! Next time will try pouring the c. milk over the toppings, as some recipes suggest. Have you done it that way before with this recipe?? Love your food and your style!
Hey Patty,
Sorry to hear this, I would definitely add the condensed milk over the top at the end:) xTieghan
A delicious recipe to make at home. Great article; keep posting more recipes like this. I would definitely try those also.
Thanks,
For sharing.
Hey there,
I am so thrilled this recipe was a hit, thanks a lot for giving it a try!! xTieghan
Delicious. I put it in the fridge overnight to cool all the way. I leave it in the fridge and cut pieces out as I want them. I’ll think of this recipe next time I need to bring a sweet snack for a group.
Hey Dyanna,
Thanks a bunch for making this recipe, I am delighted it was enjoyed!! xTieghan
I recently discovered your site and this is the first recipe I’ve tried. These bars are amazing. I toasted my coconut and added kettle corn on top of half instead of pretzel sticks, just because I had it already on hand. I did the optional topping the last 5 minutes of baking instead of in Step 2. My husband who normally doesn’t like coconut can’t stop eating these bars.
Hey Lacy,
I am thrilled to hear this recipe was enjoyed. Thanks so much for giving it a try. Have a great week! xTieghan
These were great, the pretzel bottom is really a nice change. I made a few substitutions. My husband likes coconut but I don’t, so I did half the pan with coconut and half with quick oats. I also divided up the chocolate chips and used 1 chip of milk chocolate, 1 cup of butterscotch chips, and 1/2 cup of dark chocolate. Delish!
Hey Brittany,
Thanks so much for making this recipe, I am so glad that it was enjoyed! xTieghan
