The Half Baked Harvest Cookbook: Cover Reveal and a Giveaway!
Honestly, I cannot believe this day is actually here…I finally get to reveal the cover, and even a few details, about The Half Baked Harvest Cookbook!
I do realize that the book is not even out…yet, but today’s the day I can actually show you guys, not only the COVER, but also a sneak peek inside, plus all the preorder details! I am SO excited it’s not even funny! I am also SO super nervous for everyone’s feedback. But I think I’m more excited than anything else.
As a lot of you know, this book has been almost two years in the making now. Yes, it takes a while to create a cookbook, and I had no idea how much work would be involved. But like I have mentioned, I could not be happier with how it is shaping up. The recipes are in…and have been tested over, and over, and over, by not only me but also my amazing recipe tester, Peter. The writing is complete and the photos have all been turned in. And while I don’t love each and every photo, the book would never be ready for that to happen. All in all, I’m pretty happy with how they turned out. So all that’s left now is to prep for the books release, which is September 12th, 2017! Just six short months away! 🙂

{BBQ chicken cob salad with avocado ranch}
What I love most about this cookbook is that there is a little something for everyone. Everything from the super healthy to the super indulgent, to everyday easy dinners, to weekend pastas that are worth the extra time! Count on finding plenty of easy crockpot recipes along with recipes that take just thirty minutes start to finish! There are plenty of breakfast options, appetizers to please a crowd, pasta and pizza galore, and even some veggie heavy recipes. And yes, there’s an entire chapter on desserts. Some are a chocolate lovers dream, some are super fruity and a handful are even healthy…ish.
The Half Baked Harvest cookbook is truly a refection of what you see on the blog. The recipes in the cookbook are the best of the BEST, my most favorite creations. Recipes I have saved on my computer over the last four years for when the time came to put them into a cookbook. These recipes are what I am calling the HBH creme de la crumb recipes, they are my most treasured recipes. With each recipe there is also a photo, and for some recipes there even two. As you guys know, I LOVE photos and one of the most important things to me was that each recipe have at least one beautiful photo to accompany it!
OK, so let me give you a little sneak peek inside…
The Savory Eats…

{above: fancy toast eight ways}
From the Breakfast chapter: Fancy Toast Eight Ways
From the Chicken and Pork chapter: Cheesy Oregano Chicken and Broccoli Pesto Panini
From the Seafood chapter: Cedar Plank Salmon with Lemon Butter
From the Meatless chapter: Chipotle Roasted Quinoa and Sweet Potato Tacos
The Sweet Eats…

{above: addictive salted caramel stuffed chocolate cookies}
Chocolate Caramel Cake
Mom’s Special K-Bars
Strawberry Peach Galette
Salted Treacle Butter Apple Pie
A few things to note…
…there are a total of eight chapters: breakfast, snacks & appetizers, pasta & grains, poultry & pork, meat, seafood, (mostly) meatless, and desserts.
…the breakfast chapter is huge and full of both sweet and savory recipes.
…there is plenty of pasta…and pizza. Obviously.
…plenty of appetizers and snacks.
…a whole chapter on (mostly) meatless meals…or mostly meatless and even some vegan recipes. 🙂
…there is a photo and a story with every recipe, just like here on the blog.
…all of the recipes are brand new and never before seen!

I can’t wait! The two chapters I am really looking forward to are the breakfast chapter and the appetizer/snacks chapters. Congrats!
Omg i want your Cookbook!! I sadly don’t have a real kitchen till september and I can’t get all the ingrediënts here in the Netherlands. I do make your churros waffels in my silly little kitchen area. And last time when there was nothing on tv (and I was staying at my parents) we we’re just checking out all your yummie recipes and we where like oooeeee want that ooeeee need that oeeee really want that!!
Keep on doing what your doing!!! Love from the Netherlands!!
Huge congrats! so happy for you! Looks beautiful!
A huge congrats with your first cookbook, and I must say that the cover looks absolutely amazing!
I’m really looking forward to getting your book, because your recipes almost always, are a huge hit(there was a little mishit with a dish because of the cayenne pepper. Apparently my family can’t tolerate a pinch of cayenne..), and it would be amazing to always have your recipes on hand, even when I don’t have an internet connection, and can’t find a recipe on your blog.
Omg I’m so excited for this book to come out – I love how warming your recipes are plus they’re perfect for dinner parties, which I love hosting! When will it be available in Australia?
Your photos always amaze me, so I’m sure your cookbook will be stunning! Congratulations. The salted caramel stuffed chocolate cookies look awesome.
This is so exciting! The cover looks fantastic – so eye-catching. What I am most excited for, in the HBH cookbook, is the Sweet Eats chapter (especially the Chocolate Caramel Cake).
I have been waiting for this cookbook for years. I have even made a mini-cookbook with my favorite recipes of yours, and honestly, I am most excited about the photos. Your style of food photography is what got me hooked on your recipes in the first place. I came for the aesthetic and stayed for the delicious recipes.
I think for me your book is going to be about how the simplest recipes can be turned into bountiful, hearty dishes with lots of colour and character. And how you can make each of those simple things look absolutely stunning with your photography. I’ve always come to Half Baked Harvest looking for inspiration and this book will be a different level of inspiration for me because your heart was poured into it. I hope I get to win a copy of your book – it would mean the world to me!
I stumbled across your recipes by mistake looking for an OTT cake 🙂 🙂 and I love everything about your recipes.. your style, colour and amazing food ideas are just exactly what I look for in food! We love entertaining and spend loads of time cooking for family and friends and I’m dying to have your cook book to share amazing food with them 🙂 well done!!
Congrats on your hard work’s accomplishment. What a natural high for you. And, the photos, so far, are mouth watering. I can’t wait until September, to devour it…..and use it. I’ll be home in May, counting the days to September.

Congratulations on an awesome! I have followed your blog, your cooking, your photography, and your infectious energy from way down the bottom tip of Africa for some years now. And the cover is the perfect reflection of everything I associate with your cooking and eating (mine too!) style. I would love to go into the draw for a copy:)
Super exciting news! Thanks for sharing your cookbook journey with us. Can’t wait to get my hands on the final copy. I hope Chicago is on the of list for the launch of the book?
Hello!
I have been following your fabulous page for sometime and to have the book with all your recipes to pull off the shelf and hold and read would be a lovely gift indeed!! We also love to cook from our barn on our mountaintop!
Thank you!!
Hey Tieghan, I am impressed again and again about what youˋve achieved with your blog and now the book! How do you do it, does your day have more hours than mine?? 🙂 I have a small foodblog and I know how much work it is and you are producing high quality recipes, pictures and stories on a daily basis – I honestly couldn’t be more enthusiastic about your work! I am very excited for your book, as I devour your posts greedily for years now – nevertheless I looove paperback in my kitchen even more than the digital versions. I wish you the most fun and successful (I know it will be) book launch! Sarah (who is extremely thankful for your work)
I can’t wait for your book, I absolutely love your photos! You make each recipe look so enticing. I’m looking forward to ALL the recipes! Congratulations on all your hard work!!
My whole family enjoys every recipe of yours I make. You’re a household name around here, and I can’t wait to expand into whatever territory you’ve brought to the recipe/cookbook world. You should be damn proud of yourself.
I’ve been waiting for this day for so long, I can’t believe it’s actually here! I love the cover, but from what I’ve seen so far, I’m looking forward to the breakfast toasts eight ways! Congratulations!

Congratulations! What an endeavor! You must be proud of this accomplishment and your fan club is happy to have a book of your beautiful and delicious food.
I am so excited to get yet more inspiration for meal planning for my family and menu planning for our café. Your recipes are truly inspirational and I look forward to them arriving in my inbox everyday here in the UK. We are hoping to stock your book in our store when it is available in the UK.
Your recipes are a visual treat and I am glad your book is ready for release.
All the sections sound interesting, especially ‘meatless meals’ and ‘desserts’. CNt wait to try out the recipes.
Wish you the very best!
I’m so excited to have you at my finger tips sitting pretty next to my other cookbooks. As soon as this arrives I will be tucked on the couch devouring every page! Congratulations! Im so very excited for you!

So Happy for you! Good luck!!!
Hi Tieghan, long time reader of your blog 🙂 I am so proud of you for doing this cookbook. It looks amazing and I hope there’s a way to get it here in Europe as well.
Tbh, I am really most excited for your success but recipewise I am definitely most excited for the “Salted Treacle Butter Apple Pie”, the foodporn pics and more pasta recipes. Wish you all the success!
definitely the savory dishes, you are great with combining interesting flavor notes!
I am most excited for that strawberry peach galette!! Especially since the cookbook comes out right at the end of peach season.
Tieghan, the cover looks so beautiful! Congratulations with the cookbook. I thought I’d be most excited about the sweets (and trust me – I’m very excited about those!), but that photo for toast eight ways just looks so bright and exciting!
I expect to see you on TV next. I am excited for you & looking forward to using your book. Thinking it might make a great gift for friends & family!
Most excited? Your food is always beautiful with that extra thought that makes a recipe unusual and special…so all of it? That said, a chapter on meatless is fab! I’m not veggie but my sister is and I eat a lot of vegetarian food and I wish everyone would give veggie meals a chance …wait… are there grapes on one of those toasts? Actually grapes on toast might be the most exciting thing 😉
What a honor and privilege to become a fan of your blog and to be able to read everyday and surround my self and family with your totally amazing recipes.
And now a Cookbook….
Thank you for your countless hours and willingness to share more you with us.
We are blessed.
I’m so excited for you. I know how much work a book means!!! I’m looking forward to the savories! Thanks for your great work. Bet regards from Germany!

https://bloglairdutemps.blogspot.pt
Congrats! I can’t wait to see this all together and see all the beautiful photos and new recipes! Regards, nt
I have a question about the book? I buy my books through Amazon UK because I live in The Netherlands. I notice on that site, the book has a different cover. Will that be fixed? Thanks.
Love your photography! And breakfast, my favotite meal any time of day! ☺ And the appetizers to tempt my guests. Everything you do is packed full of flavor and style. So excited for you. May this be the first of many new adventures for you. Congratulations and we all are very much now looking forward to September!
Huge congrats ! You are so talented.
I am most excited about trying more of your supper recipes as they are so mind boggling delicious with so many unexpected combinations that work ! I have not come across another chef/blogger who has so much diversity and whose recipes blow us away , EVERY TIME!
I am most excited for the breakfast recipes..but can’t wait to see all the pictures. You take the best photos of your dishes.
Oh boy, that BBQ chicken cob salad looks delish! And I’m keeeeeen to find out about these special K bars! (as a kid I loved special K because I thought it was referring to me as being special simply because my name started with K – haha) I feel like you can never have too many pasta recipes though – so any increase to that repertoire of mine is a good and welcomed one!
I’m excited for the 30 minute recipes, and meatless. Looking forward to stories and photos, too. Can’t wait! Congrats, too.
Congratulations!! Stunning cover 🙂 I’m most excited for everything contained in your cookbook, obviously…. your recipes are sheer genius. And that salted treacle butter apple pie sounds extra delicious.
I am most excited for desserts! And meatless! And breakfast! Looks like a great cookbook – congrats!!
So excited about your book!!! Cannot wait to remake some classic favourites (OMG honey garlic butter shrimps in coconut milk!) and to try new ones!! Always such an insipiration to come here 🙂 Congratulations on this amazing achievement! Xx
The cover is beautiful. That dessert section sounds amazing! I’m very intrigued with the special-k bars!
First of all, LOVE the cover. Secondly, I have been waiting for this beautiful cookbook since you first announced its plan! I honestly can’t wait!
To enter your giveaway, I am definitely most excited for the desserts chapter. That is always the first category I go to. Once again, can’t wait!
Hi there
For your cookbook, I am not most excited to try new foods, new recipes, tasting new flavours, or anything like that, but I am excited to create. I look forward to actually FEEL that flutter of excitement you get when you realize that everything has come together after following the recipe perfectly (and your recipes are perfect). I am also excited to share your creations with others – i’t one thing when you like them, but when you can share those flavours with others…
I can’t wait for your cookbook here in Australia. I truly love your recipes and blog. It makes my day, each and everyday.
Amara M.
Congrats! I follow only a few food sites, and yours is my favorite. Only $20 on Amazon?! Yes this is pre ordered already.
CONGRATS!!! It looks amazing. So so excited for this cookbook – mostly because your recipes feel “fancy” but are still ones I make on a weekday. Ready for lots of fresh inspiration. If I had to pick one recipe, I’m most excited for the meatless meals. XO
Not waiting and taking a chance on winning, so I pre-ordered mine, but if I do happen to get lucky, the win copy would go to my youngest, who is now out on her own and trying to cook for herself, and starting a supper club with some of her buddies. Looking forward to September!
This must be so exciting for you. I can only imagine…
I’m looking forward to your photos. They are always so beautiful and inspiring
Congratulations! The cover is beautiful and I am looking forward to all of your wonderful creations.

Looking forward to your book, and seeing all the delicious inspiration in it. Happy Monday!
I’m most excited about the healthy recipes especially ones I can make for lunch. I seem to have 3 things I make again and lunch is one I always want to eat healthy.
Congratulations! Can’t even imagine the effort it takes to put together a book like this. Good for you it’s a passion! I’m most looking forward to the meatless and vegan recipes as these are my greatist challenges on meatless Mondays and when our vegan friends visit. Thank you.
Everything! But excited for strawberry peach galette for sure! Congrats, it’s so so beautiful
I love your blog and have been looking forward to your cookbook! I am most excited for the meatless section. I’m also really looking forward to the pasta and grains section
I’m excited to be able to reference a recipe without my phone falling asleep or my food-covered hands grossing-up my phone! Congrats!
Not entering. I already pre-ordered your cookbook on Amazon…
Just want to say congratulations! Half Baked Harvest is my favorite food blog by far, and I have made a number of your yummy recipes already. Can’t wait for the Book.
All the Best,
Gwen
I like the thought of not having to rely on my computer while I’m in the kitchen! I’ll have everything I need in one place at my fingertips. I can’t wait to hold it with my own hands!
,These two recipes look very interesting. I can’t wait to see the cookbook. HBH has always provided me with a great source of new and exciting recipes to try.
I am excited to obsessively go through and mark all of the must make recipes while drooling over the fantastic photography!
Hi Tieghan. Congratulations! So happy for you and can’t wait to see your cookbook! The cover is beautiful. I’m excited to see all the photographs. Like others, I’m so looking forward to having the physical cookbook as there is nothing better to me than sitting down with a cup of coffee and a book of delicious recipes. Good luck!
Hi,
I can’t wait to get to six months from here. =D Congrats!!
I really admire your work, you’re an inspiration to me and I never miss one of your recipes. So, getting a cookbook from you would be awesome.
I could tell you all about how I’m looking forward to see your unique recipes about breakfast, snacks & appetizers, pasta & grains, poultry & pork, meat, seafood and meatless, and taste them all, ‘cus I really am. But, I wouldn’t be entirely honest with you if I didn’t tell you that… … the chapter I’m really really dying to see and even more to taste is the dessert one. That’s the one! Oh, desserts! 😉
Thank you for all your work.
Ciao
What I’m most excited for: The pictures! 😀
I am most excited to begin exploring your new cookbook with my two daughters. We love to search the blog for recipes to try, then spend amazing quality time in the kitchen together creating the meals or desserts. Having and actual cookbook in hand to browse through, is going to be beyond fantastic! Thank you and we cannot wait for the release!
Tieghan, your blog stands out in a very crowded field and I expect your cookbook will too. I can’t wait to get my hands on what you’ve chosen as your HBH favorites, along with your knack for great writing. I’m sure that task was fun – but not easy!
I’m excited to see all the new recipes I can cook on the weekend for my family and friends. We love your recipes and I always getting compliments on how flavorful your recipes are. I can’t wait to have it in my hands!
so incredibly excited! new breakfast ideas!
I am definitely curious about the meatless chapter and the breakfast chapter! I think you are very creative with your recipes and photos, so I’m sure it will be a beautiful book!
Wow, congrats. Those cookies look like they’re worth it for the cookbook alone! I think I’d be most excited for the breakfasts chapter. More brunch ideas are always good!
I just pre-ordered. What I’m really excited about is that it’s got a little of everything. And I simply love all of your photos — I drool over each and every one of them. Congratulations. I can’t wait for my cookbook.
Congratulations Teighan! I love your recipes and your beautiful photos! So excited to have your cookbook, you are an inspiration. I love your Bowl recipes and Salads.
I am so excited for your book and will be wanting to get this for my mom, a great cook who spends hours at William Sonoma and Costco staring at kitchenware and cookbooks (buying only the ones with pictures so yours will be such a perfect fit). What I’m most excited about your book is how you integrate other cultures into American cooking such as tacos and Vietnamese vermicelli. I am a daughter of a Vietnamese refugee so cooking with her, inspired by fusion foods from a mutiltide of different cultures and lifestyles (we love healthy-ish baking) is always a great pastime for us. Thank you for taking the time to post such lovely photos- it truly brightens my day (and tickles my palate!). <3
Super excited about not needing to print from the blog! It’ll save on ink, but also allow me to have the gorgeous photo paired with the recipe as I work in the kitchen.
Congratulations! The book looks beautiful. I love having an actual book to read cover to cover- marking all my favorites with post it notes- then going back to try some recipes. Looking forward to the meatless meals. You always bring so much flavor to a dish!
I cannot wait for your cookbook! I’m especially excited for appetizers and starter reciepes!!
I am so excited for your cookbook and all of the new recipes! I’ve been following your blog for a long time and once I got married and had someone to cook for, we’ve been enjoying your recipes for dinner every night since then (coming up on our 1 year anniversary May 1st ;). I love to cook and your recipes are truly inspiring. My husband to this day has still never had a meal he hasn’t loved. Congrats on all of your accomplishments! You deserve it. 🙂
I’d also like to note that our daughter was born on September 12th. What a great way to celebrate her 1st birthday lol. ?
The cookbook looks gorgeous – congratulations! I am most excited about more new recipes – your images are always stunning.
I had good intentions of saying I’m MOST excited for a yummy salmon recipe or something with veggie goodness, but I saw those cookies and I cannot tell a lie: I’m dying to make the addictive salted caramel stuffed chocolate cookies now. The book cover looks gorgeous, can’t wait to dig in!
Just actually “having” YOU in my kitchen will be amazing! Your recipes, your photos!, and your posts have allowed me to know you. And guurrrrrrl, you are a girlfriend! I just pre-ordered (as easy as pie!), so if I win, I’ll give it to a gal pal – who wouldn’t want to “get to know” YOU!
I just preordered!!! I’m so excited for this book. I love reading your blog and seeing flavor combos that I could never dream about. I can’t wait to see what surprises you drop for us in the book! Congrats to you!!
OOO CONGRATULATIONS on the release!!! i have been reading your blog for quite a few years & am going to love having all your recipes in a book that i can peruse through! i absolutely LOVE your palate & love your photos (although they do make me hungry, which is the point)!
so very excited to see so many new recipes all at once from YOU!!!
congrats again!!
Congratulations! I love your photography and am looking forward to the breakfast chapter!!
I can’t wait to see your posts every morning-I love the soups and salads-thank you!
Unless I am mistaken, the release date is on or very near your birthday – cool 🙂
Oh my goshness Tieghan! I have been looking forward to your cookbook release for FOREVER. So excited that it’s finally happening! CONGRATS! I think I am most excited about your famous food bowl recipes (like the one I’m eyeing on the cover). Can’t wait!
My family loves your creative approach to food. We eat with our eyes first and your photos make me really want to dive in to your recipes. Looking forward to the release of your first cookbook. Congratulations to you!!
I’m most excited about the one bowl meals. I like the savory meats seasoned so yummy with lots of avocados.
I’m so looking forward to the salads! Never has anyone made me want a salad so bad. Not only are they pretty to look at, they are healthy and definitely not boring.
I love your recipes and having them at my finger tips at my ready is too perfect to put in words. So super excited!!!!
Can’t wait to see your new recipes!! Book-look-cook!!! That’s what I’m talking about!
I am so excited that you will be published soon. I only follow one food site – yours. Everything is so great to look at I immediately want to try it. The ingredients are easily found and steps easy to follow. Have loved all that you have posted since I joined a couple of years ago.
Congratulation and good luck – I know I will order multiple copies as this is one Holiday gift I can cross off the list for multiple friends and family.
Congratulations! I can’t wait for your cookbook ! I can’t wait to see the vegetarian recipes! Well I can’t wait to see them all! You do such a great job with your recipes and love your photography and all of your stories! So happy for you!
Hi! I just recently found your website through pintrest and I’m absolutely in love! Everything from your recipes to your stories about the barn. My dream is to eventually live on a self-sustaining farm with my family and your cookbook is the perfect inspiration for me to start pursuing that dream! I can’t wait to read it cover to cover.
What am I not excited for?! I’ve been talking to my husband about your cookbook coming out forever! I think if I had to pick one, I’m most excited about the desserts. I feel like you get me when it comes to sweets! I’ve never disliked a single recipe of yours so I am so excited for the cookbook!
Congratulations! Everything looks and sounds amazing! I’m most excited about the breakfast chapter! All of your breakfast recipes always sound so delicious!
Eek! Everything looks SO delicious! Congratulations! What an exciting time. I think I’m most excited to actually have something tangible. I LOVE reading blogs, but there’s something special about having a cookbook in hand. SO excited for you!
I don’t have a lot of time to cook and want my family to eat plates that are beautiful (mine are not!) as well as nutritious and delicious. I am looking so forward to learning how to make all the components of the bold that include protein, veggies, and other goodies. I would love to make these several times a week. Thank you for all your recipes!!!
I am so excited for all your recipes because they are always so delicious and full of flavour..big and bold just like how I enjoy it.
Just excited to have something so beautiful in a tangible form. Can’t wait to just gawk and drool over all the gorgeous photos (and then make the recipes and eat them!)
My mom always told me to eat a rainbow and now that she is gone I see her in just about everything including your gorgeous book cover…a beautiful healthy rainbow…thank you❤….I cannot wait to create your recipes for my family!
Congrats!! I’m most excited door the meatless chapter since I’m obsessed with all your sweet potato-centric recipes.
I am most excited to share your recipes with my teenage daughters, who will not only notice a new cookbook, and cook from it, but who will also be inspired by the boldness of your personal story and that you are someone following your dream and doing what you love!
I love the cover of your new cookbook! It makes me want to get right to the inside pages to see what treasures there are inside. I am a savory rather than a sweet person so my first target will be those types of dishes in each category. Congratulations on getting your cookbook into publication!
I can’t even tell you how excited I am for you! This is such an awesome amazing thing you’ve done!!! Your blog has changed the way I cook, and I recommend it to everyone who will listen, and without fail they become as avid readers as I am. I can’t wait to be able to enjoy your cookbook as much as I’ve enjoyed cooking from your blog 🙂
This is so exciting! It looks beautiful and I can’t wait to get my hands on it! Very excited for the breakfast chapter and that salted treacle butter apple pie sounds amazing!! Congratulations!
Wow! Congratulations! It’s getting closer. Me & the kids can’t wait for more recipes!
Cause they’re yummy!!!
I love the cover! I can’t wait to check out the breakfast and the meatless recipes!
I look forward the most to your posts not only to salivate over the gorgeous photography but also to recreate these wonderful recipes. I re-post your recipes the most. You are amazing!
Honestly, I’m most excited about a photo for every recipe! My biggest issue with cookbooks is that I want a pretty picture to go along with it- and your photography is absolutely one of my favorites!
Congratulations! I am most excited about the photos. They are what got me hooked on your recipes. They’re amazing! You have such a passion for this line of work, that you make it look so easy! I’m sure your parents have told you before, how wonderful it is to enjoy what you do. It means you will always enjoy “going to work.” I actually keep most of your recipes in my own personal file. Correction… YOUR FILE!
I am so excited about your new cookbook, I can’t wait! Especially your chapter on meatless meals!
Yeah! Finally I don’t have to print out the recipes! I am very excited to see your new recipes and the meatless chapter. I have enjoyed your posts for years. I have limited time so had to stop reading many blogs but I still read yours! Congratulations – cannot wait to get your book.
Congratulations, Teaghan! So excited for you and can’t wait for your cookbook!
Whenever I am looking at a post with a recipe compilation, I always know one of your recipes from the gorgeous photography and they always look the most delish:)
I’m excited to be able to read the cookbook like a novel and to get off of my iPad!

I’m excited for your stories. I love your blog because your so personable and it makes the experience all the more fun! However, I am most excited to simply have you in my kitchen! This sounds funny, but I love your blog and I love cookbooks, so combining them is going to be incredible!
I’m excited to see the innovative twists you always put on your recipes, especially the savory dishes.Congratulations on completing all your hard work for your first cookbook!
In 2017 it is my goal to get healthy and fit! This cookbooks looks like it might be full of healthy recipes that can help me achieve my goal. I want to make sure I get my daily suggested amounts of fruits and vegetables. Thank you so much for the chance! I would be so thrilled to add this cookbook to my growing collection!
It’s wonderful! Wonderful to see the cookbook come together!
So stunning! Congratulations, girl!
Congratulations! The cover looks great, I am so excited for the book to come out later this year. The sneak peak definitely has me even more excited. I am looking forward to reading the book, like I do your blog and cooking something great for my husband when it comes out! The book will just add to my repertoire of great recipes. Everytime I try something new and my husband likes it and asks where I got the idea/recipe for the meal almost 100% of the time my replay is HBH. He just smiles and shakes his head now like he should know better instead of asking 🙂
Oh man! HURRAY! I make recipes from your site probably at least twice a week. I am psyched for everything in it, but probably especially more bowl food dinners, which I think you are amazing at putting together. I’m ALSO super excited to give this as a gift to multiple family members…the release date is my sister’s birthday, and Christmas is right around the corner after that…
Perfection!!! So happy for you! I ordered 2!
I am most excited for the meatless recipes and to try the savory breakfast recipes. I also look forward to all the beautiful photos for which your blog is famous!

You are my go-to now for a new recipe…whether it’s sweet or savory, breakfast or an app, everything I’ve made has been delicious! Thank you and best wishes for many future successes!
I love cookbooks!! And no doubt I will enjoy yours. The thing I am most excited about is your photos of the recipes form your book. Presentation is important to me, plating the food with such visual creativity , is almost as exciting as tasting the dish. Your recipes speak for themselves. When creating my menu for my family each week is so much fun, currently I receive your daily emails of recipes. I have success with them now to have your cookbook with the delicious photos and recipes to savor each day. Thank you

Nancy
Congratulations on the new book!! Chipotle Roasted Quinoa and Sweet Potato Tacos sound amazing – that would be my first pick 🙂 Followed by a VERY close second – salted caramel stuffed chocolate cookies (anything with “addictive” before a recipe name means trouble).
Your pics are always beautiful including the yummy, colorful salad on your book cover! Good luck on sales!!
Very much looking forward to your book. I have made a number of your recipes from the blog and want more! Love your photography skills too!
I’m most excited about the breakfast recipes!!!!

How exciting!!! Congratulations. I’m looking forward to the 30 minute meals. I enjoy having dinner at home every night and am always looking for quick recipes after a long day at the office.
I’m excited about all the paper and ink I’ll save because I print almost EVERY. SINGLE. ONE of your recipes. I love the creative pairings and healthy-ish takes on classics. Keep it up, Tieghan!

I’ve been following your blog for over a year now and love the recipes I’ve made. Your photography is such food pron XD. I’m super happy for you! Exciting time; the work will totally be worth it.
Of all the many food bloggers I follow, I think I am most inspired by the recipes I see here. I’m most looking forward to see what fantastic things (photos, recipes, stories) you put into your first cookbook, as I’m sure all the recipes will be amazing. Can’t wait!
Hooray! I can’t wait to share your amazing cookbook with my friends. It will make a great shower/wedding gift ?
The whole reason I started subscribing to this blog was that I noticed a lot of my best recipes that I was pulling from Pinterest happened to be from HBH (completely coincidentally!) Now that I am subscribed, I get so excited whenever I see the email come through for some new “food for thought” recipe. Having a cookbook with all these faves would thrill me to no end! I do a lot of entertaining and pretty much ALL of the recipes I’ve tried from you have been a smash hit.
Congratulations!!!!
I am most excited for the meatless and pizza recipes. Love your blog and cannot wait for the book!
What an achievement! I can’t wait. There isn’t anything I like than a cookbook with recipies I cn whip up without alot of fanfare! Having tried many of your recipies, the cook book should be full of wonderful meals
Very exciting- Congrats on getting everything to come together. Looking forward to seeing more of the book!
Mouthwatering cover?
It will be a loooong 6 month wait to dive into your book. For me, every chapter will be exciting. I just love your recipies and the sneak peek looks very promising. Congratulations! I wish you all the best with this book and everything that will come.
What aren’t I excited to see in your cookbook? Your photographs are stunning and your recipes delicious. I’ll be reading your book from cover to cover.
The whole book! But, especially the sweets. I have made a couple of different recipies from HBH and loved every single one, so I can wait to see and try more!
Congrats!!!! This is so amazing nd you deserve every second of it!! I’m most excited to see your veggie and chocolaty recipes!
Wow! I love the pictures of the recipes ! They inspire me!
Can’t wait for the book! Your website is my go-to place for recipes with Asian influence and I absolutely have to get my hands on the meat-less section. I observe Lent, and finding decent and not boring vegeterian/vegan recipes is super hard.
Your recipes are delicious but your photography is stunning!
Congratulations! This is incredibly exciting for you and also for all of us who follow your recipes. It will be wonderful to have a tangible copy of all these incredible meals to display and use in our kitchens! I’m most excited about the crockpot meals and 30 minute dinners since I work full-time and I don’t have much time to cook during the week. September can’t come soon enough!
Seeing all those beautiful photos and getting to make those special K bars that I’m dying to try!
I am really looking forward to all of the amazing pictures in your cookbook. I think more than anything that is what makes the meals the most attractive and appealing. And of coirse, the desserts. I have been following you on instagram for a while now and the desserts always keep me coming back for more!! Very excited for you!
I am most looking forward to the meatless meals chapter as I’m always looking for new ideas. Meanwhile the above photos are terrific! I am excited about this cookbook as I have tried so many of your recipes, always with great success.
I am excited for the vegan recipes! I am allergic to eggs and dairy. Granted I have found my ways around this with using alternatives like duck eggs(sooo good!) or hemp milk, but vegan recipes just cuts out all the guess work! And all your recipes I have already made are AMAZING!
I can’t wait to have a physical copy of your recipes!
I am looking forward to everything, but definitely can’t wait to check out the appetizers and snacks.
I’m excited to have a collection of your recipes and photos compiled in a book so that I can give copies for Christmas – shopping done!
I can’t wait for the pictures and fascinating combinations of color and flavors!
Anticipating that the visual and tactile pleasure of leafing through your book will be right up there with dipping into your wonderful blog.
This is so beautiful and I plan to buy one for each of my three grown (and just about grown) children. I admired your photography first, but was pulled in at Thanksgiving by your roasted turkey and gravy recipe. Revolutionary! The gravy alone is a new legend in our home.
What, its not September yet??!! Is it bad to wish away your time, hell yes, if it means getting hold of your first cookbook. Can’t wait. I am excited to have meatless and meat recipes in the same book that are given the same amount of excellent attention and photography. Being a Veggie is not easy when the rest of the family doesn’t follow suit. Being able to adapt from your recipes has been such a great easy over the last while, can’t wait to get my hands on more that will please us all.
When will the book be available in Canada?
Thanks
Congrats Tieghan on the book release! I just cooked one of your recipes last night! I cannot wait to see all the goodies in one place! What an exciting day! I placed my order today! Would have loved to see some food and your picture on the cover, but it’s the inside that matters. Cheers. Gabi
Tieghan, I just noticed that your post has the cover and Amazon doesn’t as it is the pre-order stages. Really like the cover. Great job!
I’m so excited to see what you have put your heart and soul into! I know you work so hard to produce this blog, so this book must be EPIC. 🙂

Tieghan, I have been anxiously awaiting your cookbook! I have made so many recipes from your blog, and would love to see even more new amazing recipes. My favorite recipe right now is the coconut and quinoa lentil curry. Made a big batch for my PA school study group, and no one could get enough! So excited to see what else you have for us!
So exciting! Can’t wait for the sweet treats! Your crock pot butter chicken is a staple around here 🙂 Can’t wait for new ideas
I am always inspired by the beautiful photos of the food – how can you resist trying the recipe when the result looks so tasty 🙂 Congratulations on the cookbook – can’t wait to read it!
I am most excited for the photos. Not only are they awesome, but its always a plus to see what my final product ‘should’ look like.
Congratulations on all of your hard work.
I am most excited for breakfast and lunch recipes! It’s my favorite meal of the day and I’ve honestly been waiting for the day that your cookbook comes out, I even emailed you asking if you were making one several months ago! Everything you make looks so rich and delicious, so I’m excited to have all of your recipes in one place that I can reference and have on display in my own home. 🙂
I am so excited to have your recipes in the palm of my hand. It’s so easy to look at your images, salivate, and then resort to making the same old stuff in my ‘recipe Rolodex in my head’. It will be so nice to bookmark, leaf through and just do it!!!
Also congratulations, this is awesome, your site was one of the first I followed and the one I most look forward to new posts.
ngallo58 at gmail

What an exciting news! I just thought recently that I’ve been waiting for your daily emails so much every morning and how great it could be if you issued a book! And here is your email just about that! Congratulations and needless to say that I’d love to win your book!
Exclusive and treasured HBH recipes sound so exciting! Can’t wait for the pasta and pizza recipes. I always love the ones you post here!
So happy you got to do this book. The photos look absolutely stunning. Great work.
The cover is gorgeous, I can’t wait to see it all come together! I’m really excited for more healthy…ish recipes ?
I love paging through cookbooks and reading them for entertainment not just to make a recipe. Your photos are beautiful, directions clear and each recipe is a story. I enjoy your blog but I also love having recipes in print. I can’t wait till your book is released.
Congratulations! The book looks beautiful. I love having an actual book to read cover to cover- marking all my favorites with post it notes- then going back to try some recipes. Looking forward to the meatless meals. You always bring so much flavor to a dish!
Congrats on your book! It looks beautiful! I am most excited to get the recipe for salted caramel stuffed chocolate cookies!
I’m excited for those chocolate caramel cookies – and pretty much every other recipe!
I can’t even… I’m so excited for this cookbook!!!!
If you could keep sending the sneak peeks that’d be great, because it’s not out in the UK until September!!!!!!!! So many mixed emotions… so excited for the book, but so sad I have to wait so long!!!!
Congrats girl!
Okay so, it’s released to everyone in September, but we’re a week later in the UK. That’s cool. Normally we’re months later. Most looking forward to making that chicken salad tho… and of course all the photos. And desserts… well done Tieghan! BTW just pre-ordered from Amazon UK and hopefully mine is the first one shipped! ?
Your recipes are the bomb! Im such a dessert freak and I can’t wait to get my hands on your cookbook. I wish you all the best with your cookbook as you really deserve it! You have worked so hard and are really a talented cook 🙂
Love that every recipe will have a photo. All your recipe photos on your blog are drool-worthy, now I’ll be able to have a book to drool over rather than my phone!!!
So pumped! I know the recipes will be delicious, so I’m most excited to try out some new stuff, but second most excited to read the book. There’s something special about cooking from a book more so than a website 🙂
I read cookbooks like some people read novels and I can’t wait to pore over all this gorgeous deliciousness!
Congratulations! I am beyond excited that you are coming out with an amazing cookbook! So happy for you! Also that bowl on the cover looks like PERFECTION.
I am most excited to see your sweets! I have made so many of your recipes for my family. Your photography pulls me in to make all you yummy sweet!

I’m so excited for you and to get my hands on this cookbook! I am most excited about dinner entrees. My family fondly refers to you as “the 17-year old girl,” so you’re a household name! We all love your recipes. 🙂
Your blog is one of my absolute favorites. I’m most looking forward to the stories with each recipe and cooking amazing food!
I am excited for ALL THE CHOCOLATE. Also all the amazing grain bowls!
Congratulations on finally hitting the home stretch! I am most excited about trying every single one of the pasta recipes!!
My husband and I moved into our home, which has our dream kitchen, last August. Since October, when we got everything up and running, our weekly meal plans have included at least one of your recipes! We love opening your blog and seeing what’s new and exciting. It’s so much fun reading the story, looking at the pictures, and laughing at how ours almost never looks as good! 😉 So, congratulations on your cookbook, I can only imagine how elated you must feel! We can’t wait to add a copy to our stack of favorite cookbooks!
Oh my! So many delicious treats. It is impossible to choose ONE thing that I am excited about, but those open-face toasts sure look irresistable so I will go with that, along with other snacks and appetites in the book that would undoubtedly make my mouth water like they always do! (Told you, I can’t choose just one!)
Congratulations!
Congratulations, I have loved every recipe I have tried. This is so exciting. Half Baked Harvest is my go to for new recipes and I can’t wait to have a physical cookbook to use and display.
I’m very excited for you! I can’t wait to see all the mouthwatering recipes and the delicious looking photos of all the yummmmmmmy food!
Thanks for doing what you do.
I’ve made so many of your blog recipes and they’ve all been amazing. I can’t wait to have them all in one book that I can keep on my shelf!
So looking forward to this one! Your flavors — and pictures — are inspirational…
You’re the hardest working food blogger on the Internet and I’m so happy for you. I can’t wait to flip through the cookbook on September 12. It’s going to be a treat.
Congrats, Tieghan!! I always love your dessert section (in fact, your almond butter banana bread is now my go-to banana bread). So happy for you!
I’m most excited for the pictures! Pictures are everything in cookbooks, really enticing me to try a recipe. And your food styling is one of my absolute favorites so I just know this book will be GORGEOUS!
I’m sooo excited about all the photos! I love recipes with a picture 🙂
I am so excited to see what all your hard work has culminated to! Also so excited for the meatless section – and the desserts!!! Congrats!!!!!
Anything Greek!
I am so excited to hear about your cookbook! I love your posts on Instagram and make your recipes often! The fancy toast eight ways looks incredible! Can’t wait to see all the appetizer and pizza recipes. Congratulations!
I love that you will be showcasing a photo with each recipe. I prefer that when I read a cookbook (and yes, I read them like novels). Plus, your food photos are some of the best on the web. I’m not kidding. They sometimes intimidate me!
I am also curious about how/why you put chicken and pork in the same chapter. My husband is allergic to poultry, but I often try chicken recipes on him, using pork. The meats seem somewhat similar, but I always worry the pork will dry out.
Congratulations.
I pre-ordered weeks ago! I am so excited to see even more new recipes because I’ve never been disappointed by any that I’ve made!!
Congratulations Tieghan!!! I am so happy and excited for you! Ever since I started my food & travel blog two years ago I’ve been following your work and every time I see your post I am amazed how you are able to create so much quality content on a daily basis, I mean the recipes, the styling, the photography! Girl, you have super powers and I’m sure your cookbook will be a huge success, you deserve it! I am the most excited to see all the beautiful photos but also desserts and breakfast chapters are calling my name! 😀
I’m looking forward to your gorgeous photography. You always take the most inspiring food photos. I can’t wait to check out your appetizers section! The ones I’ve made of yours in the past were amazing!
I am so excited to see the beautiful photos along with your comfort food recipes!
This looks awesome! Can’t wait! Especially for all those breakfast recipes!
I absolutely love the accessibility and convenience of electronic recipes, so your blog is a Godsend. However, there is just something about a hard copy cookbook in hand with a cup of tea and creative mood that just can’t be beat. Looking forward to September 12 which happens to also be my wedding anniversary 🙂
AT LAST! Especially excited for the breakfast chapter and of course all the incredible pictures <3
I’m so excited for you & to have all your recipes with gorgeous pictures in a book, almost like a coffee table book … a feast for the eyes. XOXO from Maryland
I love all of your recipes and make something at least once a week. So I’m excited to support you!
I’m most excited about any recipes that get me jazzed to eat vegetables. It helps that the photos all look gorgeous and appetizing!
At long last! Congratulations, I know it will be a thing of beauty! Since I’m trying to up my veggie intake, that will be a section of particular interest to me.
I am SO PUMPED for this cookbook. I have been following your blog for a little over a year now and am stunned at your creative process and accomplishments with food. Your recipes are fresh, healthy and original. Don’t even get me started on your photography and food styling skills! What am I most excited for in this cookbook? The Meatless chapter. I’m so excited to add this cookbook to my collection and to share with our friends and family. I’m a huge fan of HBH! This blog has made me more comfortable with using ingredients that I normally would not buy and had made me appreciate all kinds of veggies. On top of that the photos are always gorgeous.
I am definitely looking forward to your dinner recipes. I make your caramelized pork ramen and honey harissa chicken at least once a month in the winter, they are both so delicious and easy.
Your beer soft pretzels + cheese dip have made me a snack superstar with my friends, it’s requested for every single party we throw! I recently started stuffing them with hotdogs and pizza filling because…why not. I hope you have some tasty, savory snacks!
The gorgeous photographs!
I’m so excited to get new recipes ideas and to get inspiration from your photography. Your food blog is the first blog I began “religiously” following and I LOVE that you post every single day. Your eclectic recipes and amazing photography inspired me to start a food blog of my own.
Good luck with everything!
Honestly i love everything about your blog…so can I please say that I am looking forward to everything in your book…recipes, gorgeous pictures and such…can’t wait!
Tieghan, it’s beautiful!!! In all honesty I am looking forward to adding another pretty cookbook to my little collection and trying your “best of the bests” in my own kitchen. I am so excited for everything! That image of cookies looks amazing. And I love the flavors that you include in all of your recipes I see online so I’m super excited to see all the thought out and your favorite recipes of the cookbook.
Hi!!! So excited for this book 🙂 I am most excited for anything cheesy, and also the meatless section. I also love seeing you incorporate life in the mountainous farm and how that intertwines with who you are and your cooking style. XOXO
I have enjoyed watching your blog grow over the past few years and it’s been a thrill to see you flourish! You deserve all the success that’s come your way. Can’t wait to have a physical copy of the tried and true recipes I keep going back to and am eagerly awaiting the new ones!
Congratulations on such an exciting milestone! I’m most excited for the breakfast section because you make it such a fun meal to wake up to…aaaaand also dessert. Because the sweet tooth is strong in me!
I am most excited for the meatless recipes. I am always looking for new ways to eat the foods I love while subbing in meatless options, which I’ve found hard to do in my own cooking!
And, as always, I am excited about the cheesy recipes. I have made some of my cheesiest indulgences from the recipes on your blog…and absolutely LOVED them and can’t wait to have a cookbook I can refer back to. And the cover is beautiful!!!
I’m exciting for everything! I love all your recipes and have made so many things from your site already. I love your food because it’s exactly the kind of food I want to eat. I’ve been reading the blog for a couple years now, and can’t wait for your cookbook! Congrats! 🙂

Congrats! I’m always most excited for new ideas for main dishes, and I particularly love your bowl meals.
Well, since I’m allergic to dairy, I’m really excited to see what vegan dishes you have in store for me! 🙂 Many of the others I’m able to make substitutions, but some I’m not, so this should be exciting.
Congratulations on your new book!
Jo 🙂

Happy Monday! I am so excited for your cookbook. As silly as it seems, my favorite part of each morning is checking HBH to see what your recipe of the day is. I have so much fun reading the recipes and the stories. I am most excited to see all of your best recipes in one place so I can always have them right in my kitchen whenever I need them!

Yay! Lots of pasta and pizza recipes?! Can’t wait!
So excited to see the cover.
Amazon still has the all blue cover.
Can’t wait until September.
I am mostly interested in your vegetable and meat dishes of all types. I am on a very healthy diet to loose weight and I’m doing great so I wouldn’t be doing your deserts but they do look and sound good.
Congrats on your book! Everything you make always looks beautiful so I can’t wait to see the book when it’s all done (plus the yummy recipes!!). I am excited about the Dessert section. I just looooooove me some cookies!!!! Xoxo
I’m excited for all the new recipes! Congratulations Tieghan- what an awesome accomplishment!
So excited to discover a new favorite (i just found your site)! Also, snacks. I love cookbooks with snacks.
Congratulations! This is indeed a very special and exciting day. I am looking forward to the crockpot meals and all the pictures and stories. I am sure this will be a very successful cookbook.
I am super excited about this book and all the new recipes and photos! Congrats!
One of my most favorite things about your recipes is the unique way you mix flavors. I love to try new things and I am especially excited when food looks good as well! I can’t wait to see the new book and I am so very proud of you for allowing us to get to be a part of your dream! The Sub-Title “RECIPES FROM MY BARN in the MOUNTAINS made me smile 😀 ! I have this amazing picture in my head that makes me want to come over and watch you create! Keep up the great work and thanks for sharing!!!
Congratulations! I am so excited for the new recipes, especially the ones that can be made vegan!
Oh my god!!! This is so exciting! I can’t wait to get my hands on your book when I get the chance. I have been obsessing over your recipes FOREVER. 6 moths feels like way too long, meanwhile I’ll be testing out everything you have to offer here on this website 🙂
Everything! Photos and sweet, savory and many breakfast recipes ( it is the most important meal of the dayx3)
Pasta…or breakfast…ALL of it! I’m so excited for you! What a cool accomplishment.
OMG Tieghan! (Holler at a fellow Colorado gal!) I am so pumped for this book, really hard to decide between the meatless and the desserts and, everything? Definitely MOST excited for all things pasta, my family eats pasta like three times a week 🙂 Congrats!!
I am super excited to look at all of the amazing pictures! And add some new lunch & dinner ideas into my rotation. Seriously- while scrolling through Pinterest- I can spot a HBH recipe/photo from a mile away!! I’m really looking forward to this book!!
The cover looks great! Anticipating Breakfasts and Easy weeknight dinners the most.
Congratulations on your cookbook! I cannot wait to see what you have in the dessert section of the cookbook. I love making your desserts, they are always great!
Ahhh September 12th is my birthday 🙂
I am most excited about all of the dessert recipes!! I’m a dessert freak.
New recipes, your amazing photos and there’s just something about holding a book. Congratulations!
So so so excited for your cookbook! I think I’m most excited for the breakfast recipes, but also just to have a physical cookbook to look at and come back to and enjoy over and over again. Your photos are so beautiful it can easily be a good coffee table book to leave out for all to admire.
Congratulations on your cookbook. I am very excited for you and your followers. I have been following you since you first started your food blog. I love your energy, inspiration and your feline kitchen assistants.
I have used your appetizer recipes over and over to create different tapas platters, giant cheese trays and just a ridiculously yummy selection of delightful handheld foods to nosh on while drinking wine with friends and watching our kids play outside in beautiful Colorado. Love your blog and have followed you for so long. Can’t wait for your cookbook and can’t wait for more HBH appetizers and snacks! Congrats ??
Totally excited about the breakfast chapter!
You are a creative genius and I can’t wait to look through all of the beautiful photos.
Congrats! Pizza is my spirit animal so I am definitely pumped for those recipes 🙂
Okay, I need the cookbook just for those salted caramel stuffed cookies! Looks amazing!
While I am truly excited for a cookbook that will be chockablock full of amazingly creative and tasty recipes, I am also just excited for you!! I think I began following your blog back in 2011 and have made many of your incredible recipes. Your Korean fried chicken tacos is probably the best meal I ever made and introduced me to gojujang, which is now one of my kitchen staples. I cannot imagine the time and effort you must put into this blog. This is the only food blog I follow with nearly daily posts. It must take a tremendous amount of effort to do the research, make the recipes, take the photos, and write the blog. But I also can imagine this is a labor of love and I’m just so happy for you that your hard work has paid off. CONGRATS!!
You have an amazing way of paring foods and their flavors to wow every single time, your cookbook will be phenomenal i know, i can hardly waiot for it!
I am most excited for delicious dinner recipes. A few of your recipes such as lasagna spaghetti squash boats and goat cheese stuffed mushrooms have become a staple for me and a regular at the dinner table. I find myself buy spaghetti squash every week if not more because I can’t wait to make the recipe again!
Oh my gosh, I would love to win that cookbook! I think I am most excited for the breakfast chapter because breakfast might just be my favourite meal of the day and I love hosting brunches for all my friends! I have often used recipes from half baked harvest before when i was throwing breakfast parties and i am sooo excited for more!
And one part I am most definitely looking forward to is the photos. I love your photography!
I’m the most excited for the dinner ideas.. meatless and meat-ful. hah. I like the way you do sauces and I’m in need of some new ideas!
I am so excited to see all of the recipe names and especially anything chocolatey! So excited for you!
Oh my goodness!! I am so excited for your cookbook! The cedar plank salmon with lemon butter jumped out at me as I was reading what’s in store and I think that’s what I am most excited for!
I’m most excited for the gorgeous photos!! Aside from being a fantastic cookbook, I can see this staying out on my coffee table!
I am so amazed at the beauty of your recipes, the presentation, the ingredients and my desire to try them all! I haven’t yet, but working on some of them each week. Very much looking forward to the release of your new cookbook and obviously, I would love to win one!!!
I’m excited for your desserts the most! But I love all your creative ideas!!
The cover is perfect. It looks exactly like you and if I saw just the cover and no words, i would guess that it was an HBH cookbook. ?
Those tacos and the cookies pictured sound drool-worthy!! Those and the Cobb salad both are the things I’m most excited to check out! Of course desserts all day every day, and the meatless chapter sounds intriguing. Congrats Tieghan…you’ve worked so hard for this and I’ve been reading along for the whole cookbook journey+ so it’s really exciting for me to see that you are getting so close! ????
Oh my word, what stunning photos! I’m salivating already. The cover photo is amazing and would guarantee that it would be the first book I would choose from a display. I love savoury dishes and especially salads, and that BBQ Chicken Cobb Salad looks wonderful.
The cover is beautiful! I’m so excited to get my hands on a copy. I think I’m most excited for the meatless chapter. I’m always looking for new ways to do Meatless Monday!
Congratulations! What an exciting time, and I’m sure this is euphoric! This is a result of so much hard work, and I’m anxiously looking forward to September and being able to get the book! I’m looking forward to the extravagant desserts, and the easy, quick meals!
I am so excited for your book to come out! I can’t believe it will be all NEW recipes, how wonderful! To think of all the printer paper I will save by simply having a REAL live book full of your recipes! 🙂 I use so many of your recipes, that when my family asks how I came up with dinner I will say “Another recipe from my girl…” ! And I incorporate ideas (i.e., cream cheese on tortillas before filling with [===] for enchiladas) onto other recipes, too. I took your roasted apple-poblano-onion salsa (for fajitas) and threw that combo into enchiladas. Really, your flavor combos are the best, and I’m so glad to have discovered your recipes! Good luck with the book, I’m SURE you’ll be a hit!
AHHHH!!! I am SO EXCITED for you Tieghan!! 😀 The cover looks beautiful and I know the cookbook is going to be a hit. Of course I’m mostly excited to see your vegetarian chapter, but I AM looking forward to the desserts as well!! 😀
Congrats. I’ve narrowed down my food blogs from around 20 to almost exclusively using your recipes when trying new dishes. I’m excited for some new recipes in the book as well as the photography. Good luck!
I am excited to give this book to my mom- so we can cook recipes out of it together for many years to come. She is the one who first introduced me to your blog and we love comparing the recipes we’ve tried and ones that are on our list. Can’t wait!!
I have been following your journey since the early days of HBH and your recipes have been the cornerstone of my weekly meal prepping. You make potentially challenging ingredients incredibly accessible and I’m always impressed by your spin on recipes. You’ve also gained new fans by proxy when I reheat meals at work and my colleagues are immediately intrigued. I cannot wait for the cookbook to come out and to work through it page by page. Congratulations on all of your hard work!!
So happy for you! And so looking forward to this book! I have absolutely loved every recipe I have made of yours and just know this book will inspire me to make more! I’m looking forward to the breakfast section.
Pre-ordered!
I’m always looking for fun, different breakfast ideas – can’t wait to check out that chapter!
I am so excited for new recipes! This is my favorite recipe blog ever, everything I have tried on here is DELICIOUS and I can’t WAIT to try the new ones! I get so many compliments on my meals when I make them from here and I love telling people about it. I can’t wait to get the cookbook!
So, so excited! I can’t wait to see all the recipes you have kept in reserve for years for the cookbook! The cover is lovely, I’m so glad you chose to feature one of your beautiful bowl meals.
Congratulations, Tieghan! Way to go, girl! Your creative energy, and imagination are always an inspiration, and I can’t wait to see your beautiful book, with all its delicious recipes, and I’m sure all of the photos are 150% gorgeous! 🙂
The pictures and the seafood chapter. I seriously LOVE your pictures!
Cover looks beautiful! The part that most interests me is the slow cooker recipe section–would love to make some more interesting dishes in my slow cooker!
I’m most excited for all of your beautiful photography! Seeing your photos is all the motivation I need to get started on one of your recipes.
The cover looks awesome!! Can’t wait to delve into the seafood chapter!!!!
I’m most excited about dinner recipes! Everything I’ve made from this blog has been a huge hit!
Congratulations, Tieghan!! It looks beautiful and I can’t wait to read it. I’ve been cooking your recipes for quite a while and can’t get enough of them. It’s all so original, delicious, beautiful on the plate and full of healthy veggies.. so it’s difficult to say which chapter I am the most excited about, because the true answer is all of them :). But if I have to choose, then probably the desserts.
I’m excited to try all of the savory recipes and to see the beautiful photography I’ve come to love from your blog!
That must have been tons of hard work!!! I’m excited for your finished product to come out. The recipes I’m waiting for most are salmon because I love eating salmon and am always looking for fantastic ways to prepare it!
I love HBH’s balance of healthy and indulgent. I can’t wait to add this beautiful cookbook to my collection and try new recipes! SO excited!!
I’m excited to see what other wonderful recipes you’ve created! And I LOVE that the breakfast chapter is large….breakfast is my favorite meal. ^_^
Congratulations!! I cannot wait to see all the drool-worthy photography! Your stylizing is amazing.
yay for you! looking forward to checking out the awesome photography and amazing recipes 🙂
I’m excited because I currently have my own mini cookbook from your recipes of ones I’ve loved, made over and over again, and printed out. So now I’ll have an actual cookbook to use 🙂
Excited to see your awesome food photos and can’t wait for the seafood chapter! Congrats on the cook book!
So excited for you! Honestly, I’ve been in love with your recipes because of the way you present them. I am an artist and designer and hope to extend this skill into my cooking and you’ve been a large inspiration and model for me in that way. Would love to have your cookbook in my home! Best to you, lady.
Your food is a work of art! Not only is it beautiful and elegant but the recipes are great because they aren’t overly complicated. I cannot wait for your book, thank you for posting such inspiring content!
I can’t wait for all the new and exciting recipes that you have been coming up with! They are sure to be amazing.
Congratulations! This is such a beautiful accomplishment. I can’t wait to try the recipes in your book, especially the ones in the dessert chapter. Your dessert recipes are always a big hit over here. Thank you for this great giveaway!
I am sooo excited for your cookbook, it’ll be hard to wait for six months to be honest. I’m especially excited about the breakfast chapter, since I love all of your porridge and pancake recipes. Besides that I can’t wait for some fresh inspiration about what to cook for dinner.
Lots of love, Pika
I’m most excited for the beautiful photos and creative recipes!
I am so excited for the entire cookbook but what I really look forward to is the appetizers for crowds, I always want to have enough of everything when I’m entertaining so this is perfect!! Also of course the crockpot recipes, easy breezy receipes are my fave and of course pastas, I love and tried many of your pastas so can’t wait to have them in a book!! So happy and excited for you!!!
A huge congratulations on your book, I can’t wait to get my hands on it. I’m most excited to see all of your new breakfast recipes for warm and fuzzy mornings in bed. Also really pumped about the sweet section since I love to bake.
xx
Your recipes are absolutely divine! I love the beautiful pictures you include and can’t wait to look at all of them in your cookbook. Thanks!
Very cool, Tieghan! I am most excited for the photos, as I imagine they will be some of your very best work 😀
The cover came out beautifully. My favorite thing to cook is pasta, I am really excited to see what pasta recipes you have for us in there.
Girl, congrats on your cookbook. I am so excited for all the fresh recipes, because I really need some new inspiration. I can’t wait for the recipes from the lunch and dinner section to cook for my family. Also really excited about the photos, since one of the main reasons why I love your blog so much is the photography part.
Greeting
Even though I’m a fairly new reader (the past few months) to Half Baked Harvest, it has become my daily ritual – I eat my lunch at my desk and go straight to your website to see the recipe of the day, and always wish I was eating that instead of my desk lunch. I’ve already made a handful of recipes but am SO excited for your cookbook release.
The section I’m most excited for is probably the appetizers/snacks, I just moved to a new apartment with my boyfriend last month and we love hosting friends and family. I’ve tried to perfect my cheese platter however they are never nearly as beautiful as yours! I can’t wait to see what kind of yummy appetizers you have so I can share them with my loved ones in my new apartment!
I am counting down the days for your cookbook! I reserved the day off of work so I can celebrate & cook some of your new recipes! I’ve turned my friends and family on to your cooking. Its hard to choose just one thing I’m excited for in your cookbook! I have many of your Italian & pasta recipes on repeat (Italian Oregano Meatballs), and I love all the different pancakes/breakfasts you come up with! – (Spiced Almond Pancakes with Candied Butternut Squash + Maple Butter) – yum! Also, I like that there’s a story with every recipe. I always look forward to reading your posts and seeing all the unique things you come up with! 🙂
This looks amazing. So excited to find even more recipes and combinations of ingredients that always push me in a new direction.
To be honest, I’m most excited to get the recipe for those chocolate salted caramel cookies. They look amazing!
Beautiful!
The cover looks amazing, and delicious!! Most excited about the meatless dinners…I’ve been trying to have a meatless dinner once a week. And always, snacks and pizza!!
Oh my goodness per usual this looks absolutely fabulous Tieghan! Congratulations to you!! I’m excited about the whole doggone book but I’m especially eager to see what kind of meatless dishes you created! And of course being my fav meal of the day, the breakfast chapter is just calling my name 😀 Cheers to you once more my dear!
I just cannot wait to have all of my favorite recipes in one place!
While I have not tried any of the recipes that have posted on Facebook, I have saved many that are on my must try list’ and I have done variations of them with what I have had on hand. Can’t wait for the cookbook! If the recipes are anything like what you have posted, they will be fantastic! Congrats on the new book!!
I think it looks fantastic! I already have several of your recipes in our regular rotation, so can’t wait to get a copy!
Hello! I’m SO happy to hear your all this amazing news about your cookbook! Massive congratulations! I’ve been following your blog for ages and genuinely couldn’t be happier for you, you deserve it so much! You’re really talented and you work super hard – the best combination! I’m most excited to see the beautiful photographs – you can really tell how much love and dedication goes into every single one!
The photos address all the senses…..have loved your photo eye that adds to the flavor to your wonderful food creations. Thank you for offering us a way to drool on pages!!
I’m excited to have access to a physical book and all of the “never seen before” recipes.
I have stopped buying cookbooks because I often do not make even 10% of the recipes provided however, I have made SOOO many of your recipes and am so excited to buy your book as I cannot get enough of your food and photography! Congratulations!
Oh Tieghan! THIS IS DEFINITELY YOUR BEST POST SO FAR THIS YEAR! I have been (not so patiently) awaiting the news of the release date and am SOOOOO excited it will be just in time for my anniversary this year! Six months seems so long to wait, but I know you’ll keep all of us happy with anticipation with all of your yummy recipes and gorgeous photos every day! I honestly can’t say what I am most looking forward to, but because we love to entertain our friends for dinner, so far I have most enjoyed making your amazing main dishes, so that will probably be where I flip to first. And the photos – photos totally make or break a cookbook in my opinion, so I KNOW I could never be disappointed with yours!! So excited for you (and for all of us!)!
I LOVE all your recipes. I made your Cauliflower tacos for my father last night and they were a big hit. I have converted alot of your recipes to Weight Watcher points and they are fantastic.
I’m suoer excited for the breakfast chapter!
Congratulations on the progress! Can’t wait to get a look at the crock pot recipes especially.
congratulations!!! this looks incredible. i’m definitely most excited for the meatless chapter, i’m always excited to see vegan recipes on here!
I am most excited for the breakfast (sweet options) and crockpot recipes! I love that you have easy but unique crockpot recipes that me and husband both really enjoy! And I have been in love with your beignet and poptart recipes so I can’t wait to see what breakfast recipes you have in your cookbook for my sweet tooth!
So exciting! I have been waiting for this cookbook since you announced it. I’m looking forward to the mostly meatless chapter, and of course the desserts!
Your recipes along with the puctures are amazing! I have made many recipes from your blog and they have been totally approved by a fussy 11 year old! So excited for the cook book. I hope I can wait for 6 more months! Congrats! Iris
I can’t wait to flip though the entire cookbook and am probably most excited for the desserts! My favorite thing about a good food blog or cookbook is that it gives me inspiration when I’m unsure what to make for dinner or can’t decide what to whip up as a sweet treat. I’m sure your book will fit the bill perfectly!
Wow!!! I am SO excited for this to come out! I think the cover is beautiful and represents you very well – many of the flavors and ingredients we see regularly on the blog seem to be on the cover. I love that!
You are the one who first inspired me to begin cooking new things. When I found your website in October of 2015 , something sparked in me and I have been cooking ever since. When I had a job I hated, I used to look at your website on my lunch break and fantasize about what I would cook from it for dinner to help get me through the day without pulling my hair out! So, for your book, I am most excited to cook things I have never made before and to get outside of my comfort zone and make some BOMB meals/desserts!
Congratulations! You deserve this and I know the book is going to be amazing!
Congratulations! It sounds like your book will be a true kitchen treasure. I’m most excited to see your take on recipes for everyone. I always appreciate that about your blog – that omnivores, gluten-free eaters, vegans, etc can always find something that suits them, with creative spins and beautiful photography. Looking forward to seeing your beautiful book!
I dont think I can pick out just one thing to be excited about!! I love all your recipe ideas and the beautiful way you photograph them! I’m looking forward to the artfulness of your cookbook very much 🙂
Yayyy! I have been following your blog for a while and love your eats! I’m so excited to have them in a book! I love that that there will a little of everything, those are my favorite kinds!
Excited for? The desserts, of course!! YUMMMMMMMMM!!!!!
I’m so excited to have a gorgeous book of your recipes to hold in my hands (rather than all the greasy printouts I typically use)!
I am most excited for the pizza and pasta recipes!! Tieghan, you always have such a great and unique combination of flavors in pizza and pasta dishes.
Greetings from Ireland Tieghan! I’ve been following you for quite sometime now. Your photos are instantly recognisable on Pinterest and other social media – you have s fantastic eye. Delighted for you and your first book. Even though my shelves are heaving with cookbooks – pointed out to me by my youngest brother – are you single by the way – he is ?! I’ll always have room for your one! Catherine
I’m extremely excited for your savory breakfast dishes. My fiance and I love breakfast, and often times have breakfast for dinner. It’ll be nice to have some new recipes to try out. Also, your photography is absolutely gorgeous and that’s one of the things I love the most about your blog. VERY excited for you!
OMG!!! We are crazy for breakfast at our house – even for dinner! So I’m super excited about the breakfast chapter!! And WOW – a Cheesy Oregano Chicken and Broccoli Pesto Panini???? Sounds amazing. Can’t wait to try everything in the book!!! Congrats!! Your book looks great!!
I am a student who recently moved away from home this past September, and your recipes have truly motivated me to learn to cook! I am actually most looking forward to your food PHOTOGRAPHY in this book. Your photos alone have encouraged me to try new food and experiment with ingredients. Congratulations on this milestone and looking forward to seeing more of your wonderful recipes 🙂
Wow, I’m looking forward to all the breakfast options for dinner and for the meatless chapter – I substitute “fake” meat when making a lot of your recipes but I’m excited for a whole section I can make without worries!
Congratulations on your huge accomplishment!! You should be very proud…in a humble sort of way…hee hee. I would love to have a copy of your new book. I have been following you for a few years now. It would be great if I don’t have to keep printing all the recipes I like and want to try. Think of all the money I would save on printer ink??
So great, I am so looking forward to your book and to new recipes. I am a cookbook junkie so another new one coming is fantastic. Love your blog and your feed.
Fancy Toast Eight Ways – Can’t wait!
Congratulations. You have worked so hard since you started this blog!
I am so looking forward to the breakfast chapter. Most breakfasts I have are dull an boring. =) But of course the pictures must be great too!
I love your blog so much, that I’m excited for an opportunity to support you! I look forward to your blog posts and am often forwarding them on to my friends/family. I swear I’ve stopped going to pinterest for ideas, because everything you make is so amazing. Thanks for sharing your passion with us!
The cover is beautiful! I check your site daily to inspire my meals. Your creations excite my taste buds. From just a few ingredients to more complicated recipes the flavor is amazing! So excited for you!
Most excited for all the dessert recipes!
So many amazing looking recipes! Bbq chicken cob salad sounds great! Can’t wait to see your book!
I’m so excited for you – what a wonderful book to look forward to! Congratulations!! I can’t wait to see the gorgeous photography that will make me drool on the pages. I hope they have a waterproof coating 😉
I am most excited for the mostly meatless meals–and I’ll give the vegan ones a shot, too, since your cashew Indian paneer is one of my favorite recipes ever!
Give away or not, this is a huge accomplishment for you and you must be very proud! The food is awesome and I am looking forward to all the healthy meals like the Buddha type bowls of food! Congratulations to you and all your hard work, you deserve it! Way to go!
Congrats on your new cookbook, I love that every recipe has a picture and a story and the breakfast and snack chapters!!
The cover is freaking GORGEOUS! And the additional pics shown are so pretty. Can’t wait to get this one and get my brunch on with new recipes. Great Job and congrats!
So I only recently became aware of your blog and your recipes, but I have looked at them and tried them and they are all amazing. I love that you have such a variety of healthy and indulgent and just good food! Good food is the centerpiece of good life if you ask me and I honestly get excited when I see a new recipe because it is so amazing! I love what you do and I love that you give such good advice on what and how to cook things! So glad you made a cookbook and can’t wait to get it! Thinking I might ask for it for my birthday!
So excited as my mom has become a picky eater now. She usually eats all of your recipes
Congratulations! I’m so excited to see new recipes! Plus I need a refresh on our poultry and seafood routine at home so those are the chapters I’ll go to first.
Based on your preview, I’m really excited for the Chipotle Roasted Quinoa and Sweet Potato Tacos. I already make sweet potato tacos, but not like that! Congrats on the cookbook!
I love to bake so I’m most excited to see the cake recipes!
I can’t wait to hold it in my hands, on the porch, while I sip coffee and peruse what to make next!
Congrats & how exciting! I think I’m most excited for…well the entire thing but that breakfast chapter sounds tasty!!
Wow! Your cover is beautiful like all your photography. Healthy, plenty, variety and creativity come to my mind! I love it!
I love cookbooks and know I will LOVE yours. I have made many of your recipes including Croissants and Brioche breads. I love your pictures. I like that if I have a question, you respond so quickly. I cannot wait to see and read this!
Your recipes have never steered me wrong and I love the beautiful photography you use on your blog — it would be so fun to have a hard-copy version of the wonderful things you make so I can make them, too!
I’m excited to see a chunk of new material, and to have a physical book to stain, drip on, burn and share!
Congratulations! I’m looking forward to the breakfast and dessert recipes, and of course seeing the beautiful pictures!!
I am so very excited for you – the book looks awesome, but cannot wait to see the inside photography and those delicious recipes, along with your fun wonderful stories about your family, etc.
The most exciting thing about the cookbook is that I can leave it out at all times because it is beautiful enough to count as art!
Hello Tieghen
“Bravo Zulu” on completing your Cookbook!!! That is “Navy Speak” for “congratulations”.
I subscribe to many blogs but mostly I like your recipes….sometimes, you are so irreverent when combining different foods! It is also the way I like to eat.
I just made Cream of Mushroom Chicken Wild Rice Soup….was supposed to last a week….but was devoured in three days!!!
Keep up the good work….I am certain that it is a labout of love for you.
The most exciting thing about the cookbook is that I can leave it out at all times because it is beautiful enough to count as art! So pretty!
I’m excited for everything, but definitely any slow-cooker recipes you have in there! Just did the slow cooker philly cheesesteak sandwiches and they were awesome 🙂
I’m most excited for the breakfast chapter. Congratulations!!
So happy for you & this new milestone of yours!
I have enjoyed the results of your recipes in various categories, and I especially appreciate your spot-on salsa/toppings/sauces accompaniments for the savory dishes, flavors I would not have thought of to add, like the avocado pineapple salsa for enchiladas, and mango topping for the enchilada soup. Always the perfect finish! Thank you, Tieghan, and congratulations!
I am really excited about the entire cookbook of course! I love that you will have a photo of every recipe as well – I am a visual person and love to look at the pretty pictures of the promised end result! 🙂 I also find it curious (in a good way!) that you have a chapter on seafood because most of the food blogs I frequent and seem to be popular don’t have much in the way of seafood. Maybe this will inspire me to try and make some seafood recipes! Can’t wait!
I can’t wait for the new recipes. That Cobb Salad looks out of this world. Congratulations!
Looking forward to the photos! They are what lure you into the food!! A cookbook that doesn’t include is a recipe for a lame book! Congrats!
My favorite food blog especially the photos! Can not wait!
My husband and I make two of your crock pot recipes every weekend (our lunches for the week) so I’m most excited about the crock pot recipes for sure! Congratulations!
What a beautiful cover! I’m excited about all the recipe categories, but the breakfast part is probably #1. I’m also excited because after moving into a fixer upper RV and being nearly done with the kitchen part, I am desperately in need of a few really good cookbooks! Due to space issues I had to give my hoard of cookbooks to my kids, most of the recipes I made a lot are memorized, so now I’m in need for some upraded new ones! Woohoo!
Why am I excited??? So many reasons, so many recipes, so many cravings!!!! And I can not leave out the amazing pictures that make us all want to head to the kitchen ASAP!!!
So… I will be trying to get my copy and if I do not win, please!! Tell how can I get the book if I am outside the US?
I’m so excited for your book to come out!
Thank you for including vegetarian recipes, even though I would have bought the book just for the dessert section 😉 xx
Honestly, I’m so excited for the whole thing!!!! We love your recipes!
The caramel stuffed chocolate cookies.
My prayers have been answered! Congratulations! I am most excited for the yummy sweets. I made a batch of your Blackberry Lavender White Chocolate Scones for an office party not too long ago and let me tell you they LOVED them! My supervisor spent a whole week asking me when I was to make another batch (while also informing me that he was having withdrawals). Extremely excited for you and all us (your recipe admirers).
Congrats! The cover is gorgeous and I am very excited about this new cookbook as I have been following the blog for quite some time. The thing I love the most about the recipes you post here and the ones in the cookbook is the interplay between wholesome and decadent. It would be great to own something that will inspire me to cook a healthier meal and at the same time can offer some creatively indulgent recipes all in one place! I must admit all your desserts with a salty finish to some chocolate or caramel are my weakness..
Love the cover! I like the different colors and textures. I am most excited about new dessert recipes! Squee! Desserts are the best, especially chocolate ones!
Congratulations on completing your cookbook!
Congratulations Tieghan!!! That is a huge accomplishment and the cover is just perfect. If you lived closer to me I would take you out to lunch simply for including a picture with each recipe. Thank you for doing that! Photos with each recipe in a cookbook is definitely a selling point with me. Looking forward to seeing the book in person!
OHMYGOODNESS I am so excited! I can already tell that your book will be right up there with all my other favorite cookbooks. I am most excited about that fact that you have a photo with each recipe. Recipes without photos is always my biggest cookbook pet peeve. I can’t wait to see all of the fantastic work you have done. Congratulations, Tieghan! 🙂
Excited to have all of those delicious recipes right there in my kitchen!
We love your recipes and everyone at my work is hooked on your oatmeal chocolate chip cookies! I’m excited for both the breakfast and desserts chapters!
I not only love your recipes, but I love and appreciate the beauty of your display of recipes!! I cannot wait to experience both in your upcoming book!! I read cookbooks like I read novels and I know I will savor your book. When I need a recipe – you are always my first “go-to”.
Congratulations.
Chocolate Caramel Cake?! Yum!
I’m most excited for crockpot recipes! Never can have too many – it is one of my favorite kitchen appliances, usable all year-round 🙂 Your crockpot pork ramen is one of the best things I’ve ever eaten, so I am drooling in anticipation for more winning crockpot combinations!
Congratulations.. I cannot wait to be inspired and motivated to recreate your great recipes!
I’m just excited to see the culmination of all your hard work. What an accomplishment!
The recipes of course but also I LOVE all your pictures! Stunning.
I can’t wait to see all the gorgeous photos!
oh my God, I cannot wait to drool over the photos, and possibly attempt to make something myself!!!
Sooo excited for this cookbook! Everything I have made of your is always so amazing and such crowd pleasers. I’m so excited to have a hard copy to drool over and cook from and then to one day pass on to my girls when they are older and have their own families. Your recipes have become a part of our family and we so enjoy our family time while norishing our bodies with your delicious recipes! Ahhh, I can’t wait.
Wow! Just beautiful! I’M most excited about the meatless recipes and the pasta & grains recipes, but I know my hubby will appreciate ALL the meats!!!?
Congratulations on the book – it looks beautiful! I’m excited to have a hard copy of your photos and recipes! 🙂
This is soooo great! All of your recipes in one place. I’ve made so many of your recipients and they have become instant family favorites. My sons were driving home for a visit last fall (of course I would have dinner waiting). Apparently they had convinced each other that I was serving your chipotle pumpkin soup with chiorzo and carmalized apples (served in individual roasted pumpkins), and were they ever disappointed to discover that I made something different. They remained polite and thankful for the meal I did serve, but I overheard them later saying, “I was sure she was going to make those awesome pumpkins with soup and apples”.
Tieghan, I have waited just as long as you for this cookbook to come out! I can’t believe it’s been 2 years and waiting! I’m so excited for it to come out. There’s not one reason, there’s multiple reasons. First, the recipes of course–love trying something new. Second, the photography. Third, been waiting for 2 years^^^. Fourth, I’ve been following your blog since the beginning and can’t wait for the finished product. I’ve tried sooooo many of your recipes and cannot think of even one that was “just okay” they were all so great!
Also, isn’t the cookbook release close to your birthday?? My birthday is close to yours (and the cookbook release) and I cannot remember exactly when yours is.
C A N N O T W A I T ! ! ! ! ! ! 🙂
Huge huge HUUUUGE congrats Tieghan! The cover looks incredible and so do all the other photos you’ve posted (I am so excited for those toasts!)
I am excited for the whole cookbook, to be honest. You’ve worked so hard and so long on this, I just know it’s going to be incredible!
But if I had to choose one section, I will go with the meatless chapter. I’ve reduced my meat intake and your recipes have really helped, they’re all amazing! Can’t wait for more.
Aaaah I cannot wait for September!
Brand new recipes!? I can’t wait to try some of your sweet eats. I have absolutely loved everything I’ve ever made from you. It keeps our weekly meal planning from getting stuck in a rut.
I’m so excited for you– such an amazing accomplishment! I’m excited for the new recipes- you have what I consider a “real life” range of recipes… healthy to decadent, veggie to meaty, etc. So this book will be a welcome addition to my kitchen.
I must say, I love the cover of this book! the colors of the food are amazing. I believe that food should not just taste good, but look good as well!
I am looking forward to the desserts, and the appetizers. I also like the fact that it appears to have a vast variety of meals as I am always looking for different and healthy recipes for my family!
Congrats! I love your blog and it’s been wonderful seeing it grow. I’m most excited for the Sweet Eats:)
Congratulations! It looks great! I agree 100% that cook books needs lots of pictures, I’m looking forward to ordering yours! I hope the transatlantic mail is quick! 🙂
I’m most looking forward to your combinations of different fruits and vegetables which always inspire me on your blog!
Man, I’m so excited about every part of your cookbook! As a 23 year old foodie and aspiring baker, I am so encouraged by your cooking journey. I took a leap of faith after graduating college and chose to focus on my love of food instead of my assumed career path. All of your recipes are incredible, your photography is gorgeous, and your writing is authentic. We share a love of all things chocolate, Gilmore Girls, and Harry Potter and I’m constantly cheering for you! Congratulations on this great thing!!
What can I say? From the very first image I discovered on your blog was a beautiful cherry tomato tart. I thought… “I could make that. It may not be as pretty as the picture, but it looks so good. Organic. Fresh. Homemade.” I haven’t looked back since. I’ve cooked dinners using your recipes for my parents who can’t cook for themselves much anymore. I cooked appetizers for parties with friends and desserts for holidays. Every time I cooked one of your recipes and presented it there would be no less than 3-5 people asking where I got the recipe. And my response is always: halfbakedharvest.com
One of my friends is a singer who struggles finding good vegan and gluten free meals. I showed her your website. When I take pictures to show my other friends I credit your website for the recipe.
Your blog changed my life for the better and made me enjoy cooking for my friends and family. I don’t touch fast food anymore. I rarely use anything processed. And I feel more energetic after I eat instead of sluggish and sad.
I cannot wait for your cookbook and many more to come!
I love recipe books and am so happy you’re making one! Yes, the internet is great but there’s just something about flipping through a cook book, choosing a recipe and preparing it with the book propped on the kitchen counter!
I’m not sure if I’m most looking forward to your beautiful photography or to your creative food and flavor combinations. Let’s just say it’s a tie!!
I must say Tieghen you are the most dedicated mountain country girl ever your pictures your writings just about the best Ican never wait to go on your blog everyday
to see what you have surprised us all to see your work is excellent I congratulate you
with great honors I hope I can be the one to get that beautiful copy of your first cookbook I would be honored to use always and add it to my own kitchen.

My daughter got me hooked on HFH and we’re constantly sending each other direct messages, “Did you see that recipe?” Or, “I want one of those cupcakes now!” It’s a fun way for us to connect, but I’d love for her to have a copy of HRH so SHE can make ME some of the dishes! Lol. Either way, we’ll get it, but it would be fun to win a copy. We love the fresh foods and (relatively) simplicity of your recipes and your carefree spirit! Cheers!
